This guard was hard to mold. Its too big- and too wide. Instructions asking you to push the mold up inside and outside the gums when warm to mold, which is hard to do. Once cooled off, there is so much excess material it’s uncomfortable to wear. I even attempted to cut the extra off, but still doesn’t seem right. I’ve used different brands before which were much easier to mold and use. Very disappointed. I tried 2 strips but I give up.

I have tried every mouthguard on the market for teeth grinding. This is the only one I'll buy now. The others are either too thin or too bulky. I'm a woman in my 30s and this one is just right for me. I believe that someone else in the reviews stated you get two mouthguards in case you mess one up. That is NOT accurate. I have always only gotten one mouthguard per box (plus the case) with this brand.

I have used nightguards for over a decade. I had one from my orthodontist that cost a lot and was hard plastic that only exacerbated my issues. I've used another brand for years, but I was looking for a more affordable option. I had high hopes for this night guard. Presentation is great and the container you keep it in is very nice. However, I could not get it to mold to my teeth. I followed the instructions to a T. I know how important this is from many years of making night guards. These instruction say that you know it's ready when it doesn't fall off your top teeth when you open your mouth. Well, I wasn't able to achieve that at all. The design is such that it doesn't mold around your front teeth (odd), and the amount of plastic on the sides to mold around your molars is not enough. It's unusable for me. I guess I have a nice case to use with another brand of night guard.

I’ve been using these for years. They used to include 2 in case you messed up the first one. I have a very small jaw with about 50% overbite. These mouth guards are certainly bulky and take some getting used to but they’re great for the price. Very easy to mold and they cling to my teeth, creating a gentle suction. I’m no longer waking up with a sore jaw that pops and that’s all I can ask for.

I’ve use this brand for years!! The mouth guard is easy to mold and it lasts months. It stays in place overnight and heavy duty when it comes to grinding. When you boil it, make sure the water is bubbling when you take it out of the microwave. Use a fork and submerge the guard deep toward the bottom of mug. Give it about 30 seconds it should be softened and ready to mold. But be quick to mold it, the mold hardens fast.

I used this for a year and it was great. Sadly I misplaced it and tried a different (and more expensive) brand. It did not fit me at all and kept slipping out even after trying to refit it twice. I am purchasing this brand of night guard again!

I’ve used these for many years and they work great, mold really well and actually hold up to my grinding. If its too long you can just cut it with scissors to get the correct size. It takes practice to use any moldable mouthguard, but it’s never taken me more than two tries to get a perfect fit.

Very comfortable and stays in place. Not sure why so many people say this doesn’t cling to your teeth perhaps they have very small mouths or aren’t following the directions and mold it incorrectly. It’s bulky but all of the night guards I’ve used are bulky so I don’t mind. Great price too!

Followed all instructions carefully. Did not work. It is way too bulky to place in the mouth. Can’t even keep my mouth closed properly with it in there. Product does not cling to teeth. Waste of money. It’s funny that this brand was specifically recommended by my dentist. I wonder why..

Takes Time to Fit Right, but Worth It.

If you have your dentist make a night guard for you, it can run anywhere between $200 and $600 and there is no guarantee that it will last. Also, insurance usually doesn't cover the cost. If I can buy an over-the-counter night guard and get it to work, it is well worth the time invested in it. I used to use a different brand that was really easy to fit, but my dentist told me that it was changing my bite because it wasn't covering my back molars. After searching around, I found The Doctor's Night Guard, and the reason why I stick with it is that you can stretch it after you heat it to make it cover the back molars. That said, it took me about 10 tries of reheating and reshaping the first time I bought one. I'm on my third one now in the last several years, and the one I am using now has lasted over a year. I keep the old ones as spares just in case. To summarize, I think that if you have the time and patience, this night guard is worth using and will save you a lot of bucks.

I've used thing brand for years. Just tried a cheaper, less bulky one a few months ago and I shredded the thing in no time. This one makes you look like a football player, but it stands up to heavy grinding.

This is a complete waste of money. I have had several mouthguards in the past and thought I would try this one. It has a flat front that can not hang on to your teeth.I molded it per the instructions and this simply does not stay on your teeth. I am a petite woman with a smaller mouth and there is no way this is staying put. Waste of time and money. I am still baffled at the design of this mouthguard with the flat front. I don't see how this could effectivly stay in your mouth. Save your money, move on and buy a better kind. This is a poor design.
