[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because of the time of year we have been unable or rather it’s unnecessary to install at this time but I can tell you that it’s easy to do. If you’ve ever installed a window ac then you can do this but I think it’s possible to do with one. If it’s too small for your window it comes with these hard foam type blocks to put on the sides of the fan. It blows a nice amount of air to keep you cool. I think it’s definitely more efficient than a regular fan or an ac and blowing outside air coils off rather well. It’s a decent product if you don’t want or can’t afford air.

I like how the you can change the airflows, so it can blow in or out, which is amazing for when your house gets Smokey while cooking or if you have smokers in the home. It blows really nice air, it freezes us out at night. I like how it comes with extra side pieces so it can fill gaps of various window spaces. They thought of everything. Very nice portable fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I was surprised how lightweight the Vornado Portal is. No struggle taking it out of the box. I had it standing up before installing it and my 3 year old knocked it down, IT DID NOT BREAK OR BEND!!! I shared videos showing how snug the side pieces fit, my concern is the small openings. Will flies get in, I can see ants sneaking past! I was disappointed when it did not fit well on any of my windows.I tried sitting the Vornado further back, in hopes it will aline with the side foam pieces. However because the cord was in the way, I had no luck. My last video will show the gap spaces I had left. Although I was disappointed, oooo man the power and quietness made me LOVE IT! Two different functions, blows air in out. Both are extremely quiet, especially when switching the blades inward and out word! The cord is long and sturdy. If you are concerned about it damaging while sitting in the window, there are foam protective pieces on the top and bottom. Sad it didn't work for me, doesn't mean it won't work for you!

The airflow is strong and the noise level is very low compared to other window fans. The controls are very easy and efficient to understand.

Fitted easily into my window even with the screen down. The only issue I had was that there is still a slight gap on the side even with the multi- sized foam blocks provided. Other than that the fan is great.

It’s perfect for the office window in our home which I can’t get a actual picture of atm because I just got my wisdom teeth removed and I can’t move around much yet but I connected it to power and it works really well! Better than I thought to be honest! So I can’t wait to put it up in the window and start using ot! It feels so sturdy and like it’s going to last a long time! Air flow is great and the exhaust is awesome! It’s not very noisy you hear it but it’s not annoying.

It provides great airflow changing warm air from outside into nice crisp cool air, it is very durable and my favorite part is the noise level is not obnoxious. I enjoy noise when I sleep and this doesn't give off to much noise but it's comforting to listen to. Last night was my last warm night for awhile as I live in the peninsula northwest so I won't be able to use the fan much until spring/summer however I can't wait to use it when the whether gets warm.
