    I like how easy it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how easy it is to use hands free, but it really doesn’t work as well as I would like at removing my milk. Yields about half what I get from my spectra.

I’m 6mos into my journey and just added willow pumps to my routine. Baby was EBF for the last few months and so getting into a routine and finding the right settings was a little tricky with trial and error. But it’s worth it as it’s giving me more freedom and time in my day that I’m not stuck with a huge pump to travel with!

    Willow pump review

Very complex construction. Parts made out of plastic and make it easy to break. Also, does not latch well on breast implants. Significant percentage of women now have breast implants. In short, it didn't work for me. Probably is good for someone else. The pump was advertised as something you can work and be active with. For me, it dislodged and lost suction every time I moved. Operation is too complex as well. I don't know how average housewife with IQ of 90 would operate it.

The parts are durable and easy to clean and my output has been really good with this pump. Definitely recommend

It’s good but has issues. .

I made the switch to WillowGo after my previous wearable pump from another popular brand decided to go out (I had it for 5 years and thru 3 total pregnancies). Now I will say that I get more output with this than I do my Spectra BUT this pump has some issues that can really turn on your postpartum rage. First up, between each pump. Once you’ve cleaned everything, you have to take the center diaphragm out COMPLETELY even if it’s placement looks good and correct or else your pump will not suction. Also make sure all of your pieces are 110% dry or else the pump will not work. Second, and this one truly makes me angry is that the flange always pops off on its own. It only stays on if I have the pump laying flat on the flange or against my breast but other then that it is irritating to assemble your pump and as you’re going to put the pump away or on the flange just pops off and then you have to put it back in until you can quickly put it in the case or in your bra. This can be extremely aggravating when you’re trying to quickly put it on or away in the middle of the night so you can feed your baby or go back to sleep. Something that cost so much should stay fully assembled and not just come off. Third, the app never shows that my pumps are fully charged. I’ve reset them and everything and the light indicator on them tells me they’re fully charged but the app says they aren’t. Fourth, I wish there was a setting in the app that you can select where it continuously/automatically switches back and forth between expression and stimulation that way I don’t have to remember to go and switch back to stim to get another let down going. Fifth, this pump is loud so if you’re getting it based on its “quietness” well it is not quiet. Overall it’s fine and does the job, like I said I get more output with it than my spectra so I tend to use this one more. But it has kinks that willow needs to workout in order for me to agree with the Babylist award of “Best Wearable Pump” and give it 5 stars.

    Flanges are horrible

I got the willow go through my insurance. And I was so excited to use them. Everything was going great but then the flanges stopped suctioning to the rest of the pump. They will not stay on at all. I have tried everything to keep them on. The pump is still usable but I have to keep trying to push the flanges onto the rest of the pump to even use it. So disappointed.

    2nd Breastfeeding Journey Success

I had my second daughter in November of last year. I had an Elvie stride with my first that I liked but decided to purchase the Willow Go through my insurance. I love it! I get great output. It is easy to use and clean while on the go. My only issue is battery life. I pump 3x at work and the pumps barely make it to my last pump.

I love this pump but have 2 recommendations. The splash gaurds should come with the original set. I have overfilled these pumps each time I've used them and end up soaking wet. I check them frequently but within 5 min the 5oz containers are full. 2nd recommendation is the app should give an estimate on how much is in the container while pumping. I love these pumps but wish there was more than 2 flange sizes.

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend
    T - 9 days ago, Verified purchaser
This will not work for women with larger breasts. I have spent many practice sessions trying to figure these out and it isn't worth craning my neck constantly to see if milk is flowing. Today I had the pleasure of the milk getting stuck not going through the duckbill, so that was fun. I would not recommend these at all. My much cheaper momcozy wearable pump is so much better.

    Inconsistent

    3 out of 5 stars
    M. - 10 days ago

Not as user friendly as I’d hoped. About half the time I use these and the yield is comparable to my Spectra S1, and about half the time it barely yields anything. I have an oversupply, producing an additional 20-30oz beyond what my son needs. My breasts respond well to pumping! But these are tricky. You really have to get your nipple totally centered and your bra just the right amount of tightness. Yes, the handsfree element is super convenient, but it doesn’t make up for the wasted time troubleshooting them. I have read the instructions and troubleshooting guides online and I know my size flange is correct. I have just found them tricky. Also — frustrating that such an expensive product uses a MICRO USB connection in 2025. Come on. It makes the whole thing look cheap.

    This pump has given me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pump has given me new found freedom! I'm starting to feel like an "individual" again because I can take meetings or drive to appointments all while pumping safely. I need to try one of the smaller flange inserts because I have noticed slightly less production with the pumps. So I imagine they are not fitting with just the standard 21 mm flange.

    Quality pump

    4 out of 5 stars
    Eileen E. - 12 days ago

Performance of this pump is reliable, which is not a given for wearables! Operating the pump through the app is a must-have for moms pumping at work. 4 stars because flange inserts, while appreciated, are much more cumbersome to use and wash than if there were flanges smaller than 21mm—have experienced loss of suction with the inserts. Additionally, the collection cups sometimes take 10 tries to snap onto the motor. Small gripes, but much is expected of a pump at this price point.

    Great Handsfree Pump

    5 out of 5 stars
    Jen - 12 days ago

This is my second hands-free pump, and second breastfeeding journey. I was between this one and other hands-free pumps from other popular brands. Obviously, I ultimately decided to try this one, and I’m glad I did! It has strong suction and I feel it completely empties me. The app is great, too! It’s easy to assemble and wash. The containers with the splash guard are an absolute MUST! I purchased the 7 oz containers, which was necessary for my oversupply. The pump is fairly bulky with the 7 oz containers, but it still easily fits in my bra. My only 2 complaints are that I wish the splash guard containers came with the pump so I didn’t get so many bras/clothes dirty and I wish there was an easy way to tell the pumps were getting full without looking. Overall, my favorite handsfree pump and I highly recommend!

However I’m larger than a DD right now so anything on my chest is going to be obvious. Not as discreet as I was hoping it would be for work, but I’m going I still try it out once I return to work. Definitely will have to wear the boxier scrub top from Figs (Raefiel?) for it to fit.
