Q: Do these leak if filled with liquids (e.g., if they topple or are held upside down when filled)?

A: Zip Top containers are designed to hold liquids upright in a kitchen environment. This is why every container says on the back to “keep liquids upright" (which is simple since all Zip Top containers stand up due to their sturdy flat bases). When kept upright, Zip Top containers are completely leak proof. Zip Top containers were never designed, for instance, to fill with water and hold upside down or for taking liquids on the go.

Q: When you list a volume for each container (8oz, 16oz, 24oz, & 32oz), will that container actually hold that volume when it is sealed/closed? If not, what are the actual/true volumes for these containers WHEN SEALED?

Q: Does the Zip Top 32oz 100% Platinum Silicone Container (large) actually hold 32oz when zipped/sealed? Or is that what it will hold filled to the top when left OPEN (i.e. useless)?

I love these containers. I have the full set along with the cups and bags and they’re well used. They aren’t airtight or spill proof but it stands upright on its own so that’s not a concern for me. We’ve eliminated plastic in our kitchen, and are using glass and silicone for food storage. These containers are great for leftovers and so easy to fill, use, and clean.

These wash easily in the dishwasher and dry quickly. I love that they can go in the freezer or the microwave, and that the color is slight enough that when I open the fridge, I can tell what’s inside. I will definitely be buying more of them.

I love this container! Best part is no lid is needed! I use this one for many things, but my favorite use for it is for a salad. I can easily throw in what I want, zip it shut, and shake/toss my salad, open, and enjoy! It also is easy to clean!

I absolutely love these containers! I've been using them (I have 5 now.) for a year or so now. They easily fit in the dishwasher top rack. I use them for raw vegetables mostly. They are not completely leak proof, which is fine for vegis. Wonderful product, highly recommend! Great for the environment!

I backed these on Kickstarter and have ordered 2 additional sets since. They are great. I no longer have to search for lids and I'm not constantly tossing plastic bags into a landfill. They work well and are easily cleaned in the dishwasher. I can't say enough good things. Make sure to buy zip top brand and not the knock offs. They worked hard to get these to seal correctly and from the reviews I have read of other brands on amazon and other online locations, the cheap alternatives end up in the trash.

I LOVE this container! It decreases the amount of dishes and tupperware in the house. I can put raw chicken with marinade in the fridge, then when I get home just pop it in the oven. Great for any working parent. I also love the sandwich bag shape - my husband uses it daily to take a sandwich to work.
