Coffee taste great, brews quick. would give 4 stars but the thermal carafe could have been made better as it constantly makes a clicking noise as you brew, it does not keep the 10 cups(really 8) hot for more than a few hours and no idea how to pour out the coffee when the carafe is low. Also, the cup selection(really pre-infusion) is confusing as for some, as the machine brews all the water you put in.

Bought this. Love the small footprint. It slides up against the back of the counter nicely. Easy to use after and initial review the instructions. Easy to clean. The steel carafe pours well and keeps coffee fresh and hot. Makes a nice cup of coffee.

Excellent coffee maker however the plastic spout that goes almost to the bottom of the carafe is a pain. In order to wash it and the lid it must be unfastened and it just doesn't seem to do anything?????

I tried my friend's Zwilling coffee maker before I purchased one for myself. I like the design - not your average coffee maker. It is easy to measure the water and I can use my permanent coffee filter. Best of all, it makes great coffee.

The 30 minute shutoff should be adjustable, as is the case with most other high-end coffee makers. 30 minutes is too short for a full pot of coffee without the possibility of extending the warming time. Ruins an otherwise fine machine.

I haven’t had this coffee maker for a year and the carafe has already broken. The worst part is you can’t buy a replacement!! So if yours breaks you need to just buy a whole new coffee maker. Absolutely not ideal.

Every time you remove the top filter portion of the coffee maker, water drips down onto the tray. There is also pools of water at the tops/hinge of the machine. It’s super annoying to have to clean it up after every use. Terrible design.

Beware - The carafe's plastic handle breaks easily and you cannot get replacement parts from Zwilling. Google "zwilling carafe" to see the high amount of people trying to find a reolacemet carafe because Zwilling does not offer replacements.

This coffee maker is fabulous. As a result of how the coffee is brewed, you get a smooth cup of coffee with none of the bitterness you get from a cheap coffee maker. Pricey, yes but worth every penny and if you usually buy take out coffee, this may get you bringing it from home and quite frankly I like this coffee better than at coffee shops. We got the thermos carafe which I highly recommend. It keeps the coffee hot for hours without becoming stale and still tastes fresh.
