Palmolive Ultra Pure + Clear Liquid Dish Soap

I grabbed this when I was in a hurry. From the label “no unnecessary ingredients” I expected no added fragrances. It has a strong fragrance that is hard to wash off!

I thought it would be unscented. I guess it’s my fault for not looking further, but it says pure and clear, no unnecessary ingredients. I assumed that meant added scent, as that is unnecessary.

LOVE this dish soap. It smells good and works well without the toxic chemicals that my former soap had. I use it in my dish brush and have it next to my sink at all times. Note to the brand, if you're looking for a new product to launch, I'd highly recommend a small-ish cute/decorative bottle to keep on my counter.

PURE CLEAR, WRONG,WRONG,WRONG. USED ONCE, HORRIBLE SCENT AND REACTION. YES I AM DONE WITH PALMOLIVE AFTER GROWING UP WITH IT 70 YEARS. WHAT A STENCH.

I love this Ultra Palmolive Pure and clear. The lavender and eucalyptus fragrance is fabulous and there are no unnecessary ingredients. I fill our soap dispenser with it, so we use it all the time! Tough on dishes and gentle on hands - win/ win!!

I live this brand of soap because it doesn't take much soap to clean an intense amount of dishes. It doesn't leave your hands feeling dry or rough after.

Best dishwashing liquid on the market! Been using this product for better than 50 years, especially since they introduced the pure and clear option. It’s gentle on the hands and it’s not just good for washing dishes. I have used it for spot cleaning clothing as well as plastic, vinyl and rubber. I also use it to clean the leather and soles of my white Reeboks. Fantastic! Please don’t ever change the ingredients in this product! Thank you!

This is the best non-greasy soap, I love that I don’t have to worry about a lingering smell and how clean it makes my glasses

The labeling on this dish soap is terrible. There are two Palmolive variations that are both labeled “free + clear”, and they are both clear liquids, but one is fragrance free and the other is “Spring Fresh” scented. The labels are way too similar and easy to mix up. However, looking past that, the Spring Fresh variation is great dish soap! The scent is very subtle and smells great. Compared to the green Original scent Palmolive, Spring Fresh seems to clean better, the scent is more pleasant (way less strong & overwhelming), and it doesn’t irritate my hands like the Original did. It’s not quite as concentrated as Dawn Platinum, but I hate the new Dawn scents. It looks nice on the counter, too. I’m pretty happy with this switch! I recommend Spring Fresh - just read the label carefully.

I accidentally bought the SCENTED version of this instead of fragrance free. The bottle I bought said Pure + Clear in big letters on the front, just like the fragrance free bottle, and only said “spring fresh” in very small type on the bottom. I see that the new bottle label is clearer, but in the meantime, watch out! I washed literally one dish with this scented version and I literally CANNOT GET THE OBNOXIOUS FRAGRANCE OFF MY HANDS.

I have really mixed emotions about this product. It’s like - either be fragrant free and all natural or don’t. For example, it’s soft enough to NOT smell crazy strong… but NOT soapy enough to wash dishes ? It’s weird. Washing anything for kids or toddlers is a no , because it’s too strong for them lol. But not strong enough for dishes.

Simple, fragrance and dye free and still cuts grease and gets our dishes clean!

Pure and Clear gives you the impression that it will be fragrance free. Bottle says No unnecessary ingredients. Why is fragrance necessary? This is NOT Pure OR Clear. I am sneezing now, thanks a lot. And I get to make a Necessary stop at the return counter of the store where it was purchased.

This product contains fragrance - which is noted only in small type at the bottom. The packaging and the title mislead you into thinking all non essential ingredients have been left out, and is frankly a very similar design to other well known fragrance free brands

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find Palmolive Ultra Pure and Clear Fragrance Free on store shelves. This is the ONLY dish soap I use. Since I’m nearly out, I thought I’d order it online. Again, unfortunately, I am not able to order it on this site for some unknown reason. It just keeps looping me back to product information. Frustrating!
