That is because big swings in blood sugar, like what happens when we eat a high-sugar food or drink, can strain the milk production process. For those of us with insulin resistance, polycystic ovarian syndrome, or diabetes, a boost of sugar can do more harm than good when trying to increase supply. Well-controlled blood sugar levels can actually improve milk production.

A: The suggested dosage is 2 capsules 3 times daily. Feel free to start at 2 pills and work your way up to the dosage that works for you.

A: No, Pump Princess will not water down your breast milk. Breast milk is actually 80% water and can easily fulfill your baby's fluid needs. Pump Princess is a rich source of fatty acids and protein so it may enhance the quality of the fats already present in your breast milk. When we increase milk supply, we increase all of the components of our milk (fats included), not just the water content. Be Legendairy!

A: Pump Princess should not be taken during pregnancy. The only exception is Cash Cow which can be taken after your 36th week of pregnancy. For first time moms however, we usually suggest holding off on taking any lactation products for at least the first 4-6 weeks postpartum.
