I really liked the sample of the colour "sunbeam" and then purchased the colour "sunlight". Unfortunately, it has a lot of glitter particles in it!! Overall good texture and everything, but everything is full of glitter when I use this product :( Really disappointed

This is a terrible product in my opinion. It’s not a “glow” as much as it is literal actual glitter. This is actually unwearable and I’m shocked at how this looks. I don’t know how this got through product testing or how it has so many good reviews. Maybe buy this for Coachella or something but this is not good for like real life actual day to day.

I received a sample of this sunblock and I'm always nervous to try new things since my skin is so sensitive, and I often have adverse reactions to new face products/makeup, but I love it so much. I still have most of the sample left, but I had to order a bottle to make sure I don't run out. The subtle tint also makes my skin look amazing. I plan on using this as my daily sunscreen. Plus, it's such a deal compared to the sunscreen I've been buying.

Under makeup as a primer, it’s great. On its own, I look like Edward Cullen with a tan. If you’re looking for spf to wear with makeup, I recommend it. If you want an everyday spf with no makeup, I do not recommend. Additionally, I do have very sensitive skin and struggle with acne and this product did not cause burning or a breakout. Overall though I really do like and just got a second sunscreen from elsewhere for days I’m wearing no makeup.

I'm 41 and have had clear skin for YEARS. Used this product for a couple of days and I look like a teenager with horrid acne. It's a horrible breakout that hasn't cleared up yet. I won't touch another elf product with SPF.

Did the formula change? I still love the glow but I’m having issues with pilling. I’ve always used it over the Holy Hydration moisturizer with SPF (holy grail) but my latest tube pills over it and over any moisturizer I’ve experimented with. It does fine if I don’t use moisturizer, but I kind of need moisturizer for my dry skin. It’s fairly hydrating so maybe it will be enough when summer humidity rolls in.

I have used this primer for a little while now, and recently, I noticed the newer bottles seem to have increased the amount of tiny pieces of glitter in the primer. This is such a big disappointment, because the old formula used to have a lovely glow just as described on the product bottle. But now it’s little pieces of glitter. Which a woman over the age of 25 really can’t use as a day to day base.
