To begin troubleshooting, take a look at your pitcher to determine where the indicator is located. If the indicator is on the top of your pitcher’s lid: 1. Press and hold down the STATUS button. Hold it there for 2 seconds if you’re using a white filter or 6 seconds if you have a blue filter. 2. Release the button when the green light next to your filter icon flashes three times by itself. While our Denali Pitcher filter works well to reduce chlorine, cadmium, copper, mercury, and zinc from municipally treated tap water, hard water can contain different contaminants, such as calcium and magnesium carbonates, that won't be reduced.     I bought the Denali water pitcher about 4 months ago and about 2 months in the indicator quit working completely. I bought a new filter to see if that would make it work, but it did not. I really enjoyed it the first couple of months but now I don’t know if it is even filtering correctly.

    The plastic is cheap, the pieces have gaps in between them so it feels like it’s about to break any second, also, there is a gap between the filter and the holder so water that does not get filter goes through the pitcher.

    Unclear instructions. Are you supposed to fill the up to the fill tab twice ?? In order to get the 6 cups in per pitcher it seems that is what one should do, but this is not clear. Not sure if use indicator is working or not, seems I used it for months and light never changed. Will track by hand now.

    The lid does not cover the spout. You have an open container of water in your fridge. Why even pay for a filter if contaminants can just float in from the top? Useless. Save your money.

    I've never had a pitcher like this before but it actually really works. There is a huge difference in the taste of our water but straight out the tap and then filtered through this pitcher.     Cracked Pitcher

    I just bought this two days ago and found a small crack in the base when I opened the package. It appeared to hold water, though, so I wasn't that concerned...until now. The pitcher seems to be slowly leaking as I found water underneath it in my fridge. When I refilled it, I made sure the outside of the pitcher was totally dry and then watched it on my countertop. Sure enough, water droplets appeared outside the crack. I am so disappointed! I really like the pitcher in every other way but I expect this to soon be totally unusable. Buyer beware!
