Pleased with the filtered water system but the filter indicator quits working after two years or so. Second pitcher just stopped working. True, you can keep manual track of the filter age but that defeats a main convenience feature of the system. Brita should make the indicator battery user replaceable or lower the price since it turns disposable so soon.

I bought this after buying a PUR water filter pitcher that leaked from the side when you poured. This pitcher pours easily without leaking, the water & our coffee taste great. Hopefully the filters last a few month. Don't hesitate to purchase this.

Mold started growing on filter within 3 months and I never noticed it until recently. Make sure you check your filter and vent on the bottom and clean with vinegar and soap

The pitcher started to crack right after 3 months. The sensor also stopped working. The sensor at the tip of the pitcher can lead to having 3 streams of water instead of one if not being careful when puring a full pitcher. We had other Brita pitchers that lasted years and were a lot better built and never had any problems like this. This one was really bad.

It was too heavy to handle. I dropped it. It is not very well made. I will stick to buying purified water and recycling the bottles. I agree with the other 1 star reviews.

Drive up staff brought to my car already broken and cracked. I cannot use this and target will not let me return it for some reason. It has not been used and still has packaging attached however I am not going to pay for something that target broke and still gave to me

Been using a couple of months. Changed filter although indicator did not request it bc filtered water still has chlorine smell. Where is the replacement indicator anyway?

We want to clarify that the indicator is found on the underside of the lid and can be reset by holding the button under your filter type for 5 seconds. To be sure your filter is in place, please align the filter's groove with the notch in the reservoir and push it down firmly. Bought the smaller pitcher a few weeks ago. Took it out of packing and noticed it was cracked near the spout. Then bought the 10 cup a couple of days ago and a piece of plastic came off near the side where the lid meets the pitcher. Britas I had worked fine before. Not sure what’s going on with their quality control. I purchased an 11 cup Pur instead and have no problems. At least Target has a great return policy.

2nd time I have purchased the same water pitcher, and the second time the indicator light stopped working. For $30+ dollars and religiously changing the filter every 2 months. This poorly redesigned water pitcher by Brita definitely is not worth the price. They last about a year and then the indicator light stops working. Maybe that’s why they redesigned it? The original with the indicator light on the top of the lid was 💯 better.

Doesn’t let me know when I need to replace the filter the light was green for longer than 3 months didn’t realize I haven’t bought a replacement filter till now not good working pitcher…this is the second one I’ve bought that has done this.

Please ensure that when you're resetting the timer after putting your new filter in, you're only pressing the status but for 2 seconds versus 6 seconds in order to tell the system that you're using a Standard Filter (2 months) instead of an Elite Filter (6 months).
