Q: Will this pitcher work with my Kirkland filter cartridges? Have a box left, pitcher isn't working, both are discontinued. Box states "Fits in most pitchers from Brita." Want to use what I have left.
A: Thank you for contacting us at Brita, and we’re happy to answer your question about using non-Brita Filters with our Denali Pitcher. We can't guarantee that they'd fit properly because the reservoirs in our pitchers are designed specifically for Brita filters and haven't been tested with competitive products. We hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, please give us a call at 800-242-7482 with reference number 230602-000219. Thanks again. Alexandrea from The Brita Team

Q: is the brita water still working when the green does not come on when it is pressed 2 for seconds?
A: Hello there, and thanks for reaching out to us. We're sorry to hear no lights came on the timer of our Denali Pitcher, and we're happy to offer some advice. To begin troubleshooting, take a look at your pitcher to determine where the indicator is located. If the indicator is on the top of your pitcher’s lid: 1. Press and hold down the STATUS button. Hold it there for 2 seconds if you’re using a white filter or 6 seconds if you have a blue filter. 2. Release the button when the green light next to your filter icon flashes three times by itself. If the indicator is on the underside of your pitcher’s lid: 1. Under the icon for your filter type, press and hold down the reset button for 5 seconds. 2. Release the button when the light flashes three times. On older models: Press the Reset button firmly for 5 seconds. If needed, use a capped ballpoint pen. Please call us at 800-242-7482 and hang onto #250404-000616 so we can assist you further. We hope to talk to you soon. Jeffery from The Brita Team

Q: Does this work for hard water?
A: Thanks for contacting us with this question. While our Denali Pitcher filter works well to reduce chlorine, cadmium, copper, mercury, and zinc from municipally treated tap water, hard water can contain different contaminants, such as calcium and magnesium carbonates, that won't be reduced. As long as your water is municipally treated, you can still use our filters to achieve better-tasting water. If you have more questions, reach out to us again at 800-242-7482. Have a hydrated day!
