Love the battery life. It does take some getting used to learning how to access all the features and some of the buttons and touch screen does not work like I would think they should.
It’s got everything I needed

The first time I wore, I was surprised by how light it felt. The strap too is very comfortable. I love the display. And the menu is well organized. I can get to whatever I want quickly. I like the morning report where it shows details about my sleep. Compared to my Oura ring, the watch is not good at identifying sleep stages. Hopefully, Garmin will come up with a better algorithm. Beside sleep, I use the watch for my run and breath work. For these two activities, I’m very satisfied.
Fits the bill for my needs

I needed something that would track criteria in the gym the same way my Apple Watch did but with a much better battery. This watch is more user friendly than the Fenix 5 I had because of the touchscreen features. If I could have afforded the Fenix 8 I would have went that route. The only thing missing is the ability to respond to texts on Apple which I was under the impression it would. The heart sensor was better on my Fenix 5 because I didn’t need a bottlecap sticker to read through my tattoos. The Venu 3 will read but the watch has to be tight and not move which doesn’t work for me.

This is my second Garmin Venu. The battery is long lasting, I don’t personally shower with device on but it is good for strenuous workouts. I appreciate the features and consistent updates. I do wish this was more aesthetically pleasing and that they valued the customers whom have had and continue to purchase products.

There is so much information about individual activities and general fitness parameters. I always check the sleep monitor on waking each morning. The insights have helped me to improve my sleep quality. It's like having a personal fitness coach. Life wouldn't be the same without it.
So far it’s Ok

Pulse Ox was a priority for me. Accuracy is very questionable, especially when the oxygenation level drops below 90%. Have had issues with some apps. Watch is well made. Nice look. Time will tell.

I have been an Apple Watch user for years. I even dabbled in Fitbit from time to time when I wanted to really focus on my health. I always dumped the Fitbit and went back to Apple Watch because I just got bored. However, I purchased my husband and myself each a Garmin Venu 3 a little over a month ago and I am still as ecstatic about it as I was the first day! I don’t see my love of Garmin going anywhere!! Set up of the Venu 3 was so easy, paired flawlessly with our iPhones, and they charged fast! We made it through a week of challenging each other to steps challenges, tracking sleep cycles, getting copious amounts of notifications from our phones, treadmill workouts, and just frivolous scrolling all the features on our Venu’s before ever having to charge. We even decided so we wouldn’t “cheat” each other out of steps we’d charge them together so we plugged them up while we decided to watch some TV together. Again, another very quick charge, because by time our show was over we put them back on! I love the ability to download connect IQ and change my watch face. I found the perfect one that has every feature right on my watch face that I want to see (and it’s customizable if I change my mind) plus I can change the colors to match my mood or the holiday that’s near! The real part of the pros of the Venu 3 for me, thought, are the fact that I’m moving more than I ever have. Hitting that step goal every day is so satisfying that I keep going back for more! Also- tracking my water intake. As someone who’s never drank much in her life ever, I’m now drinking what a normal human should lol! I have something to look forward to (meeting that goal!) and it’s not only affected my mood, but also my physical health! My blood pressure is lowering naturally and my glucose isn’t all over the board anymore. I’m feeling so much better in the last few weeks and I absolutely attribute that to my Garmin! So if you’re on the fence… Get it! You won’t regret it. I simply cannot wait for spring and summer.. I’m excited to utilize my watch on some hikes and see what kind of stats I come up with then! And you never know, my first 5K may end up being soon too! From someone who sit on the couch most of the day… if you want some motivation, get the Garmin!

Bought this watch a month ago to replace my Apple Watch glad I did so use it for physical fitness and general health. Everything works great in these areas. The only thing that I would ask Garmin to add to this watch is the ability to use or upload your own weather app would definitely purchase this watch again.

Had for a month and love all the features and BATTERY LIFE. I don’t text through my watch and I rarely take calls on the watch so if that’s important to you iPhone users this may not be for you. But not having to charge everyday and all the additional features is worth the cost of the better implementation of texting/calling. Takes a little more effort to setup than the Apple Watch too but it is worth all the effort.

I upgraded my vivo music watch to the Venu 3 garmin and couldn't be happier with my choice! It has all the options my last watch had and more! (I have had two vivomusic watches in the last 10 years and loved the Garmin experience......just don't make the mistake of jumping in the shower with them on because that's how I lost my last two)
Love the watch

Good Standalone No Integration With Other Devices

Upgraded from a Venu 2, Garmin has added some nice features so this is a good standalone watch. However, if you're counting on integrating data from the Venu 3 with other Garmin devices (e.g. a bike computer), you'll be disappointed--there is no integration in the Garmin Connect platform. This should be an easy fix, but still haven't seen it.

The AMOLED screen is bright and clear. The battery life is pretty great but if you are very active and using it to track multiple activities a day (eg. walking, plus biking, plus a weigh lifting session) then do not expect the battery to last much longer than a week to a week and a half. It’s lightweight, stylish, and packed with health, fitness, HRV, and sleep-tracking features. The large screen is easy to navigate, although there's a learning curve. There are a plethora of custom watch faces you can download, such as the one in my photo, which is packed with a ton of information, including steps, weather, flights of stairs climbed in a day, etc. My watch face is probably a bit overboard for most people, but the point remains that you can get as much or as little information on your main screen as you want. One of my favorite features of the app is the custom workout feature. However, it does not always calculate the number of reps accurately. It is easy to edit while working out, or go back and edit the reps after the workout, though. I also love that this watch tracks more specialized and niche sports, such as disc golf and snowboarding. The list is pretty extensive and it actually makes me want to try new sports. My one point of critical feedback concerns the text response and phone call features. While you can receive and respond to text messages, your only option for text response is to use pre-fab responses such as 'on my way' or 'I'll call you back'. I imagine there must be some sort of technical limitation, but seeing as I can use the assistant feature to dictate a custom one-off text message and send it, it would be great if we could use the assistant to create custom responses to texts that I receive. I also have not been able to get the assistant to work while my phone is locked despite researching and toggling multiple settings (I have a fairly new Android phone). Overall, this Garmin watch is a fantastic blend of fitness tracking and smartwatch features, with pretty great battery life and display quality. Highly recommended!
Just perfect!

I returned my Venu 3S and got the Venu 3, and I’m so glad I did! The 3S had some serious dis connectivity issues. The 3 is amazing. No problems at all. Love the larger screen too!

I upgraded to the Venu watch from a Vivo active 3 and love it! It tracks everything I need and the battery last quite a while as well. I can usually get 3 to 4 days out of it up hunting before needing to charge it. Definitely probably recommend this for beginner or intermediate runners. Has a ton of choices to pick from for activities to track. Very satisfied with this purchase as I have had it for around a year now.
