This listing in inaccurate, as it says the pot hold 40 oz, 5 cups, 8 oz each. It holds only 5 oz cups or a total of 25 oz. Other than that, it’s a great little coffee maker!

After six months, this coffee maker started leaking while brewing the coffee - which ran onto my counters and damaged the hot plate of the coffee maker (and obviously made poor coffee). I loved the design and the size (and the price), but it looks like I've paid for it in the end, as I will now have to buy a different coffee maker.

The item works perfectly and is exactly the right size for my needs, but the chemical odor and taste of the plastic used to construct the item should be rated as a cancer causing agent, or at the very least, something that will cause breathing difficulties and asthma attacks. The odor is SO strong, I had an immediate asthma attack and the odor of the product filled my home. I thought maybe running water and coffee through it several times might help eliminate the odor, but it is IN the plastic, not on the surface. Too bad companies feel the need to use such things and too bad I had to send it back. Back to boiling water on the stove....

Once I got this little guy I was no longer faced with having to dump a half a pot of coffee down the drain every day. Sometimes the basic things in life are the easiest to have. I like how it doesn't have a bunch of buttons, or times, or self cleaning options, and whatever else is on coffee pots now. I just switch the switch and tada hot coffee. It brews the coffee fast, keeps the coffee hot, and thats all I can ask for in a coffee maker,

It takes about five minutes to brew a full pot. Standing temp is 163 degrees. There’s nothing fancy about this coffee maker- just a simple on/off switch- so keep that in mind if you are used to auto shut off. Also get the right sized filter. The larger ones can work but you risk it collapsing and making a coffee ground mess.

This little jewel takes up very little space on your counter top and is perfect for my little family. It easily fits on my counter top taking little space. It is made of great sturdy materials. I had a great time setting it up. Instructions are easy to read and understand. Upon brewing my coffee, it releases a delicious scent and it brews exactly how I love my coffee. Very rich and delicious. It is extremely easy to clean as well. I definitely recommend it.

This coffee maker features a 5 cup glass brewing pot with easy to remove flip top lid, brew stop if you remove the pot, a flip on/off switch and the filter basket swings out for easy loading and removal. This coffee pot would be good for staying at hotels, camping, dorm rooms and small kitchens. If your making coffee for a crowd or pulling an all nighter I suggest getting a larger coffee maker. I was able to fill up two travel mugs. Standard coffee filters will fit, but the tend to be to tall and when you swing the filter basket closed it pushes the filter downwards and you end up with grounds in your coffee. I tried trimming the filter and the end result was the same. Might work ok with a reusable filter.

My coffee pot is wedged in a corner and it's a pain moving everything around it just to fill it with water. The 5 cup size is just right and the taste is great. Temp is a little on the high side but that's how I like my coffee. Surprise performer for me and will have a place on my countertop as long as it wants!! Give it a shot...
