I am really happy with the carpet glider! Just lifts off the cloth from the floor so that does not drag on the floor, and the steam is better placed not to overheat the carpet with the steam! Good for freshening up the carpets and killing of minor bugs! Best to use cleaning substances for stains though as suggested on videos!

The carpet glider works as expected. Extremely disapointed that it isn't included as standard with the machine and other accessories. Most homes have carpets as well as hard floors and when reading up, the carpet glider is included in the reviews, so would expect it to be included in the minimum kit that comes with the machine as standard.

The attachment makes steam cleaning a carpet a breeze. My carpets are mostly low pile, but the glider also worked on a wool rug, Definitely worth the money.

Does what the specifications state: carpet cleaner in between using deep carpet cleaners. This machine uses plain tap water to clean and sanitize hard floors & surfaces. Carpet glider is an accessory to use on carpets; not meant to clean pet odors or hard stains. Not a cheap machine considering the accessories needed. Overall, you need to decide what you're willing to pay for a cleaning machine. Will not recommend if you want an all inclusive tool.

Love the effectiveness of this glider, it slips on and off with ease but very secure while in use, it does a great job of sanitising the carpets and leaves a lovely fresh smell, thank you.

I bought this as an extra as the SC3 didn’t come with many tools .... it didn’t do a great job of cleaning the marked area on my carpet I bought it for, but it did freshen up the carpet.
