I think Bissell is removing negative reviews. I have the same complaint others have on other sites but strangely those reviews are missing here. The unit simply has no suction at all. It will remove very little if any water from the item being cleaned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this after I returned home after wintering elsewhere and found that mice had relieved themselves all over my new white sofa. This appliance was a breeze to set up and within 5 minutes I was cleaning the sofa. At first I used the standard wet clean function, which removed at least 80% of the urine and feces. Then I switched to the steam mode, and the remainder of the stains were gone within a couple of minutes. I was so pleased with the results i then turned my attention to an adjacent upholstered chair, dark navy blue fabric. It was apparent looking at the waste catchment on the cleaner just how much dust and dirt was coming out of the furniture! There was no damage to the furniture and it looked brand new when I was done. I had construction going on in the home last year, so there was an exceptional amount of dust and dirt collecting on all furniture surfaces. I can't wait to attack my 7 year old king size upholstered bed frame next!!! #sweepstakes

Urine and feces were deposited on the seat cushions in the most obvious of locations. After reading reviews and product features, I selected the Little Green HydroSteam Pet Portable Carpet Cleaner. It was a breeze to set up, and it was shipped with the cleaning agent, so I was ready to go as soon as I unpacked it. I first tried the wet setting, which removed about 80% of the stains immediately. I then switched to the steam function, thinking a little heat might help release the remaining stain, which it did promptly. I was so pleased with it I went on to clean another upholstered chair (dark navy fabric) and was amazed at how clean the chair looked when I was done. And there was no damage to the fabric color anywhere. The waste water catchment proved I removed a lot of dust and dirt! The chair looked - and smelled - brand new! For context, I had construction going on in the house last year, so you can imagine how much extra dust had settled on all the furnishings in the house. Next up - I'm going to clean my fabric-covered king size bed frame which I've had for nearly 8 years! SO GLAD I PURCHASED THIS APPLIANCE!!

The dogs are well mannered but even so, mistakes happen and with larger animals, there are never little mistakes. We also have three grandchildren who love to paint and do crafts, and same as with the pups, they are pretty well mannered but mistakes happen and ... again never small mistakes with them-ever! This Little Green Cleaner, is not too heavy, or cumbersome- easy to use! It works well for small areas and eliminating tough stains! Especially when there is no need to clean the entire carpet or room, but essential to take care of specific spots. Great addition to our cleaning needs!

Was super excited to use this today and drove an hour to buy. Got home and opened the box and it was missing the cleaning head! So, totally unusable. Customer service offered to send a new one in 5 days… needed it today… If you buy this definitely check the contents of the box before you leave the store! Hope this isn't an indication of quality of the product since it is not cheap.

It removed them with no problem. The steam function is awesome. Filling and holding tank are so easy to use. The self cleaning hose option is great too. Stops working after 4 months. After not even 4 months the water trigger squirts out water whenever it wants to and never when you need it. The suction also stops working around this time as well. After every used I've always clean it and let it air dry before storing it away. I've only used this less then a handful of times. Something that's this much money should work for years before having issues, especially if you take care of your products. So disappointed i just missed the return window so now I'm out all this money and need to buy a new one.

The dog tracks it in and jumps on the beige couch and chairs creating a definite mess. The Bissell HydoSteam did the job and solved the problem which will repeat itself. I figured buying the Bissell was considerably less expensive than repetitively hiring professional cleaners. The bonus is I've also found so many other uses for the HydroSteam. It simply makes sense to have it available anytime the need arises.

Didn’t produce any steam brand new out of the box. I made sure to re-read directions and watched troubleshooting vids online, but no luck - I’ll be taking it back. I saw a few other reviews with the same issue, and concerned that they have this many defective products in the market without a recall.

Bought this less than a year ago because the steam option was appealing to help remove stains on furniture and carpets. Well, less than a year later it has stopped working. We have used it maybe 6 times total. The vacuum still works but it will no longer spray any water/cleaner or create steam. Highly recommend not buying this item.
