The Lifetime Tamarack™ 10 ft. Kayak is a sit-on-top kayak that has a comfortable backrest for your long paddling adventures. Designed for extreme safety and stability, the Tamarack™ has a stable flat bottom with deep tracking channels and stability chine rails. The kayak is constructed of blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) making it durable, UV-protected, and impact resistant. The lightweight, 50 pound design and front and rear carry handles make it easy to transport to and from the waterfront. With a storage hatch, paddlekeeper, and multiple footrest positions, this kayak has plenty of extras to enhance your paddling experience.

I just bought a 10 ft Tamarack but it did not come with a paddle. I thought a paddle was standard issue with your kayaks? Am I wrong?

During last voyage she encountered “operator error” and somehow lost the seat fasteners. I called Lifetime and they were very helpful… sent us a new strap with the fasteners. Before I bought the kayaks I checked reviews and everyone commented how great the service was… in getting replacement parts. They were right! And we love our kayaks!

We have used this kayak for the last 5 years and love it. Durable, dependable, and agile. Light enough to carry up our steep lake hill about 200 feet. Really good value for the money.

Received my new kayak and it worked great except a small clip that holds the seat strap was broken in transit. I called and, without being put on hold for hours while a recording told me that my call was important, i got through to a live person who quickly figured out the part i needed and made sure it was in the mail quickly. So great kayak and great customer service.

The kayak meets our expectation. the only thing we did not like is that the seat pins did not hold to well and are starting to tear, but that is probably from the harsh sun and traveling once with the seats not strapped down thru a mountain range for 3 hours.

My wife and I bought a Lifetime tandem kayak 3 years ago. This was the second time in the 3-year period that we needed a replacement part. We kayak often.. The customer service department and specifically our sales rep performed magnificently. When we determine to switch from a tandem to two individual kayaks, we will purchase from Lifetime. We bought two Lifetime Tamarack 100 On Top Kayaks last summer. The seat of one of the kayaks somehow got bent and made it impossible to operate the kayak with ease and comfort. I accessed the Lifetime website and via chat explained the problem. The agent understood and ordered a new seat that arrived at our home within 10 days. No hassle, just 100% superior customer service. Thank you!

I bought this just over a year ago and so far one of the side carrying handles has come off, the seat bottom has come off, and both adjustable straps for the seat have broken. The plastic piece that makes the seat adjustable broke on one side and bent so that it will not stay attached on the other side. The plastic is not of good quality. I am about 160 pounds so I don't feel i've exceeded the weight limit of 275. Very disappointed.
