I like the concept of compostable bags as they are better for the environment. The bags feel different and so far they’re working well. They don’t last as long as regular bags. I haven’t tested them long term but so far so good.

These bags are nice and thick. I was expecting them to be A bit more see-through. The quality is great and I can’t wait to keep on using these. These are perfect for defrosting meat.The closure is very easy to close and you don’t have to keep on running your finger over a few times to make sure that it’s actually closed.

So I’m a bit new to compostable and earth friendly products. These are for sure an interesting product. Their texture, size and overall. Now I haven’t had anything get freezer burnt yet but I am not sure I have much faith in these for preventing that. The snap seal doesn’t give me much confidence, but works. The bag itself seems like it might actually be a little bit oversized which I am not complaining about. All in all if you are worried about the environment and or just want to try something new. It’s worth a shot.

Great freezer bags, but also clutch for marinades in the fridge. I enjoyed that these bags are easy to open/close, are compostable /made from plants, and PFA and BPA free. I have been using these for quite some time and there isn’t a significant difference from traditional plastic bags, so the switch is easy! This has a thumbs up from me.

These compostable bags are very cool. The material is soft and smooth and also durable, holding heavier food items (pierogis, mashed potatoes) well. There’s a note at the top to be gentle when opening the seal, which seems delicate, but it was easy to open and sealed tightly. I imagine it would tear more easily than standard plastic baggies, but I had no problems and appreciated the note. The bags are marked with a QR code to learn about the company’s sustainability efforts. A nice substitute for plastic waste!

I had high hopes for these gallon bags, but the quality was underwhelming. The bag is very thin, but the biggest issue is the seal. It just doesn't stay sealed so it will not keep any foods fresh. I put some potato chips in the bag for my lunch and they became stale. It says on the bag to be delicate with the seal, but even then it doesn't close completely. Also, it doesn't matter much, but all the print on the bag looks unattractive. If the bags worked well, I wouldn't mind, but they don't work and they're an eyesore. I'm going to find another use for these bags, because I don't trust them to store food.

These are the bags I didn’t know I needed. I wasn't aware that there were compostable storage bags but I am glad I found them. They are very similar to regular bags and keep the food just as fresh. The only thing to be aware of is to be gentle with the bag and the seal especially but the bag itself reminds you of that. Overall great bags!

These bags hold up extremely well! They are silky smooth and feel very high quality. I used them for marinated frozen chicken breasts and there was no leaking or air intrusion. I like that they are opaque so I don't have to look at raw meat when I open the fridge.

I love this concept of compostable freezer bags. I try to limit my use of plastics, but do still use plastic baggies for freezer meals or freezing meat. These compostable bags feel a little thin, so I was extra careful using it, and placed it on a plate in the fridge to thaw, just in case it tore or leaked, but I had no issue. It held up just fine. Only downside to these is it’s best to use them within six months and there is no designated spot on the bag to write the contents.

I was skeptical at first but love the idea of them being compostable so gave them a shot. They hold up extremely well! Durable and kept my food from getting freezer burn. Very cool texture and easy open and close. Highly recommend

Freezer bags are essential in anybodies kitchen! And being able to find a bag that actually helps to save the planet is incredible amazing. These bags are as good as the top brand plastic bags. Super quality and easy to use. Amazing bags

These are awesome freezer bags. My husband has a bad back and uses them to put ice in to reuse to put on his back and they work great. They don’t leak and he has reused them several times without any issue.

The bags hold up well. I have been using them in my freezer for scraps that will then go into my composter. I am disappointed that this brand has home compostable bags but, unfortunately, this is not one of them. I do appreciate the idea behind it, however, I do not live in an area that has a local commercial composting facility. In fact, in my state, there only 7 cities that do.

These biodegradable food storage bags are really nice. They feel sturdy and well made to the touch and simikar in quality to name brand bags. The fact that they will naturally break down and not become long term waste is a plus!

I love that this is more eco friendly and compostable. The material is fairly thick, and does a pretty good at keep the food fresh and free of most freezer burn. There is only line to seal it where other options have a double line seal. I still really like this though if I have to use a bag instead of a reusable container.

First time ever using the compostable bags. To my surprise I was impressed with how well they worked! They kept my meat safe in the freezer and didn’t get any freezer burn! Highly impressed with this product and will recommend to family and friends!

I really love that I can buy plastic zip up bags and not be concerned about their impact on our planet. These compostable bags seal in freshness, keep food contained and can be composted in any commercially available center. I like the sturdiness of them and their soft feel as well.
