Q: your photo shows a mesh filter but your descriptive text says "Reusable Coffee Filter (sold separately)" so which is it target? included or sold separately?
A: The answer from "Mr. Coffee Brand Team" is incorrect. The description says, "REUSABLE FILTER: Includes a dishwasher-safe Mr. Coffee Reusable Coffee Filter, so you can save money on filters and create less waste" and it did come with one.

submitted byAH - 4 years agoA: I believe you're confusing two items. There is a reusable basket (filter) for your coffee grinds but there isn't a water filter for the water filtration. I myself had the same concern.
submitted byMJ - 3 years agoA: I received a mesh filter in the box of both of these which I bought. The 2nd one was to replace the 1st carafe which easily broke but is sized differently than any replacement carafe we could find.

Q: if I want it to stay on longer than 4 hours how do I do that. Can I reset it for another 4 hours? Thanks, Denise
A: We often shut down and restart the brew button after it is partial way thru the automatic 4 hours and it has always extended for 4 more hours.Shut off for a minute or morr seems to work .
submitted byTruetales - 1 year agoA: What I do with my Current Mr Coffee is turn the unit off, and then turn it back on. It will reset the on period. ( I am now shopping for a new coffee maker and was reading the Q &A) Maybe this will help you.

Our Mr. Coffee 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker, Strong Brew Selector, Stainless Steel can only stay on for 4 hours after brewing before automatically shutting off. This auto shut-off feature cannot be extended. Hope this helps!

Q: does the pwr cord have a hidden compartment or do you have to wrap it around the outside of the unit to store it??
A: It doesn't have a compartment for the cord so you'll need to wrap it around the unit.

Q: What is the model number for the carafe? To get a replacement. Nobody recognizes the model number on the machine.
A: Incorrect answer from the brand expert.The replacement carafe is not available .A carafe was for sale online but out of stock at a popular store which recently went out of business.

Q: So does it come with a reusable filter?Because I see some of the answers stating no it does not come with a reusable filter. So yes or no it’s type confusing when you see the it does and it doesn’t.
A: This machine DOES come with a reusable filter. I don’t know why “brand expert” continues to say it doesn’t. This is a terrific machine for the moolah. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Q: Does the clock have a light so you can see the clock in the dark?
