My 9 year old grandson loved this birthday gift! His 13 year old sister was also intrigued and the 7 year old sister got involved. I had no idea how interactive this would be for the whole family. For sure this will have so much use and refill stones are on order.

This rock tumbler was so much fun for my ten year old - and the rest of the family! It comes with two bags of rocks to start out with, but it was a bummer that it didn't come with enough grit to do both bags of rocks (unless we misunderstood the directions, which is entirely possible). So, we'll have to order more grit separately. The other surprise for us was how long they actually tumble for! I think it was about 2 days on the biggest level of grit, and worked up to 5-6 days on the finest grit. And it's noisy! We kept ours in our garage and there's really no way we could have had it in any living areas in our house. All of this sounds a little negative, but the results were 1000% worth it! Even after the first grit cycle was done, we were all impressed at how pretty the rocks were. We definitely want to try it on rocks we pick up on vacation this summer.

Wow! This rock tumbler is awesome! It is very easy to use. It is a bit noisy, but that is to be expected. It polishes rocks in a fun way. I never new that polishing rocks could be so cool. My daughter just loves the surprises when she put a rock in it. The directions are easy to follow. So much fun!

UNBELIEVABLE and EXCITING! My entire family have been wanting to try this for a while now since they learned about this process in school. It’s incredible to see ordinary rocks from our yard or the park be put in this machine and after a little while be turned into a fancy cool rock, how amazing and fun! Instructions and assembly were super easy to understand. Highly recommend!

I received this product for free in exchange for my HONEST review. We were super excited to get this rock tumbler kit and review it! My kids love rocks, they always pick up random rocks on our afternoon walks. So when we got this kit they loved how many rocks came with it! Unfortunately our kids are at that age where they want INSTANT gratification and this kit isn’t great on delivering that. It takes close to a month for the rocks to be perfect. We’ve only had it go through the first cycle of grit, but my kids loved seeing them go from rough rocks to smooth ones so that was fun. I think they forget about them while they are tumbling but like the reveal when I go get them. A few things to note: this machine is LOUD! We had it plugged in, in our kitchen but since we have an open floor plan it was so loud that I had to plug it in upstairs in our loftiest so we could hear the tv. Also, you have to make sure the lid is on properly or else you’ll flip it sideways and all of the water and grit will come leaking out and you may say a choice word or two in front of your children. Overall though, a super fun experiment that shows your kids the power of patience and perseverance while also teaching them about geology and rocks!

This rock tumbler is very nice. My son loved playing with it and cleaning the rocks He will look for rocks when we are out so he can bring them home and clean them to see what they look like. Your kids will have fun with this It's would make a great gift for someone.
