Regalo Wall Safe Extra Tall Walk Through Safety Gate

I installed this according to directions included. It took my 10 month old about 3 minutes to push it open. Does not work for what it is designed to.

My son can literally sit at the bottom of the gate and open it with one hand. Waste of money, don’t have the box any more to return.

Literally the worst gate ever. I purchased one and the latch to open it broke within 2 months. I contacted the company and they said they had “improved” that piece, assuming it must’ve been a common issue. We got our replacement, and it broke again. 2 gates in less than a year, same issue. Don’t waste your money.

My 18month old can open this, it is installed correctly but he figured it out after 5 months of watching us open and close them.

Works great! Easy to install. Serves its purpose!

The metal fell apart after a year.

We got this and it worked for our bi level home. But the welding on it broke. We got another one and that one broke the same way. The 2nd one broke and my daughter slid down the stairs on it. 2 broken in less than a year not worth it.

Really nice, sturdy gates. I got the tall gates, so my kids wouldn’t trying jumping them. Fast and easy to install. The door opens both ways, which is a huge plus. The door is a bit narrow, but overall they are well worth the purchase. Thumbs up!

This gate is great for toddlers! My 18 month is above average height so we needed something a bit taller and this is perfect. Very sturdy and easy to put up

I’m 5’10 so I wanted an “extra tall baby gate”. Works fine, very frustrating putting up but worth the hassle.

Perfect hate, this is the 2nd one we have bought because the 1st one worked out so well. Only complaint is that it’s kind of difficult to put up initially, you have to play with all of the pieces to figure out what fits your stairway best. But a great gate once it’s up.

I wouldn’t recommend this product. The welding didn’t last and the door broke off. Spend your money on a different brand. The company only has a 90 limited warranty.

We got this to keep the cats from banging on our door to wake us up each morning. Thankfully the extra height keeps even our most nimble little cat from jumping over it. We had that issue with the old one. It's also much easier to open and close than some gates I've seen at friend's houses.

At last I've found my solution to my toddler!!!! This is tall enough for him to avoid making a quick "escape".Sturdy and really good on my walls. Highly recommend, worth every cent!

Very narrow gate opening. Fits the door opening fine but the gate width is very small and gate size was not disclosed in description which would have been helpful. Returning.

Great gate for my 6 month old Newypoo puppy.

It says it fits 29-41.5 inches, but that isn't quite true. In order to make this fit, I tried with a single extension, but the bolts were not long enough. With both extensions, the bolts were too long, and stuck out of the holes so far that I couldn't get it into the space. I ended up grabbing my bolt cutters and cutting a couple inches off of each bolt to make them fit. They should provide extra bolts of different sizes for this scenario, to ensure that every width fits. Aside from that, it's a pain in the neck to tighten, especially when trying to squeeze into the permanent wall caps. It's not shaped where you could get any kind of tool in there, so you'll be using your fingers to try to tighten the thing. And you just have to keep fiddling with it to get it secure and moderately even, while still being loose enough to get the door open and closed. The door itself is tiny - if you're an above-average person, be prepared to scrape your back or stomach as you try to slip through sideways. The bottom does need to be on the floor to prevent a tripping hazard, which means there's a good chance you'll need to drill into your baseboard. And you have to be careful to step over it, especially if you put this at the top of your stairs, otherwise you'll go tumbling down the stairs, which is what you were trying to avoid by getting this in the first place. Once it's in place, and outside of all those things, it does seem pretty secure, and I feel comfortable with my toddler upstairs.
