Or it burns the clothes or it doesn’t do any ironing at all. The only thing you can use this iron for is ironing your jeans. Don’t bother buying, you’ll be disappointed.

    Burnt my clothes

I am extremely disappointed with this iron. Right from the start, it stained one of my favorite shirts with some sort of residue that I couldn’t remove, no matter what I tried. On top of that, it burnt two pieces of clothing even though I followed the instructions and used the correct temperature settings. The heat is inconsistent, and it leaks water everywhere, making it impossible to get a decent ironing job done. I would not recommend this iron to anyone—it's more of a hazard than a helpful appliance.

Horrible! Water spills out, bulky, if your hands slides forward you hit the spray button. Wish I would’ve read the reviews. Bringing it back and going back to Oster.

Awful quality. Only used it 3 times in the course of a year, and it was kept very neatly in a closet. On the 3rd time its started switching off on its own and next thing you know it wont turn on again. The worst part is i bought it at regular price but a year has passed and neither target or Rowenta will back up their product. They want me to send it to their repair shop and pay for it AGAIN. never Rowenta. Even when the iron is in perfect shape just wont turn on.

We replaced an older Rowenta and wanted the same brand. Agree with the other reviewers. This iron has ruined several shirts by spraying brown colored water. It’s like having faint tea-colored spots on your light shirts. We’ve used distilled, cleaned it with diluted white vinegar as directed. It’s legit trash. Not sure if there are parts that are rusting or what. Also, it doesn’t press shirts well at all. Currently on the target site looking for a replacement. Don’t waste your time or money.

    Leaks and Stains

I had a great Rowenta iron prior to this one, until the electric cord began to spark. (it did last several years) So I purchased this one, and it has been a disappoitment since day one. The constant leaking of water and staining of clothes has been so aggrevating. I have tried everything to stop the water from leaking from the water tank. This is just a cheap version of a normally good quality iron.

I have always owned Rowena irons. And yes I still iron everything. My old one was ready for replacement and I got the 1700W max. I need a screwdriver to pry open the water inlet cap, you cannot see how much water you have in it, it leaves water spots on my clothing while ironing and the steam isn't great. I have reread the instruction several times and can't fix the water spots. So disappointed in this Rowena iron. Never had so many issues. Check out all the reviews before you buy this model.

Rowenta used to make a great iron, and I have purchased several in the past 15+ years. I purchased this one hoping for the same quality, but this one leaks white dried stuff all over my clothes. I am going to look into returning it. I’ve had it two days now.

I love the shape of this iron. Can get into tiny corners. ( I make bowl cozies and baby items). It is generous with steam on my cotton fabrics. Large water reservoir means less refilling. I use it 4 or 5 hours a day!

This isn't my favorite iron owned. It is ill built, not heavy, and doesn't press cottons even with starch to a crispy clean finish. Ultimately, I'm on the market for a new iron almost 6 months later

Works just fine but difficult to determine water level

    4 out of 5 stars

The iron itself works just great and heats up pretty quickly, doesn't clog, and remains pretty clean. The only drawback is that the orange water tank makes it darn near impossible to determine the water level when filling it. The last Rowenta had a blue colored water tank and it took some close looking to figure out the water level but this orange plastic is like I say, almost impossible. I've had to resort to using a flashlight held up close to be able to see the water level. Rowenta - please look at these design features before you approve them for production. Otherwise this is a pretty good steam iron.

Like your irons and always have. I have one ( 1 ) issue with it and it is that I can not tell how much water is in the tank?????? I keep over filling and have to empty because you can not see thru the colored plastic. It isn't just your irons but all irons. Is there anything you can do to make the tanks more readable.
