Broken steam button, otherwise great!
3 out of 5 stars
Charley - 2 months ago, Verified purchaser
As far as ironing out the wrinkles, this iron was perfect. However, the steam button broke after using it about a half dozen times. Also, the cord would not retract like it should. I may purchase the same and give it a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the sleek design of this iron, it’s super easy and convenient to use. The retractable cord makes storage simple. It doesn’t take long at all to heat up, so I’m able to pull it out and iron my clothes quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this iron to be able to iron clothes for work. I have used it multiple times and have had great results every time! I have mainly used the steam feature which is easy to use while clothes are hanging on a hanger instead of on an ironing board. My husband likes for his shirts to be steamed and I can now do this at home!
Fairly good iron, but not overly impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main feature of this iron is that it has a retractable cord. The problem is that once you pull the cord out to use it for the first time, it never fully retracts again. I understand as you obviously want some amount sticking out after it's wrapped up, but it left a good 24-26" hanging out. You can kind of try to shove a bit more in if you try, but it falls right back out when you pick the iron up. The functions on the iron also aren't very intuitive, but that's what instructions are for. The design is quite nice and it holds a lot more water than most steam irons I've had before. It has both a spray function and a steam burst function, but I didn't notice a regular steam function at all. All in all, it's okay, but I'm not blown away by it.
Outstanding Iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this iron so much, by far the best I've had. The. digital screen is super easy to use and has big letters so it's easy to read. It is heavy duty and sturdy, when I put it on its footing it doesn't feel like it will tip over. I tried quite a few different types of fabrics and all of them came out great. A very wrinkled linen shirt looked perfect after using it. The vertical steam works better than any other iron I've used; I probably wont use it a ton because the iron is a little heavy for me, but if needed its totally worth it. The only tiny issue I have is sometimes the retractable cord gets stuck and it takes a little bit of shimmying to get it to keep going, but this doesn't always happen and it's not a big enough deal to dock a star. Overall really happy with the product and it seems like it will last a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron...I love! For a while I've been coveting a newer brand endorsed by a quilt blogger I like, but is really expensive, and I've been putting it off. Money is tight and the grocewry bill is trumping every other expense these days. Enter the Sunbeam - The same brand my grandmother sued all those years ago. This thing heats in a jiff, and gets HOT, stays hot. Mostly I use an iron for fabric and quilting, and the occasional shirt I have to iron. The Sunbeam does the job fast, and more to the point, affordably. I like trendy stuff as much as the next person, but sometimes tried and true is the best bet, and so it was here. No regrets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this iron about a month ago and I absolutely love it. When I first used it I was amazed at the professional look I got when I ironed my clothes. The retractable cord is a winner as well. I love the fact that I don’t have to deal with wrapping the cord.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this iron. I like the digital display. There are 11 different heat settings for various fabrics. There were no marks left on my clothes and the water didn't leak out at all. I love the auto shut off. I also like the retractable cord. 2 good features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in desperate need of a new iron when I saw this sunbeam digital retractable one. The first thing that caught my eye was the retractable cord. My old one did not have that so the cord was always tangles. This one has no tangle because it retracts! This has a digital display instead of a knob. If you are a busybody like me and forget to turn off the iron, this automatically shuts off after 8 minutes! Unless it is horizontal, then it’s 30 seconds. I am so happy with my iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find the Sunbeam Professional Digital Iron to be a quality product. It glides nicely over fabric and has plenty of steam to tackle stubborn wrinkles. The digital selector makes it easy to select the correct heat for each fabric. The retractable cord is also a great feature. I find the weight to be a bit heavy, but would still recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this iron. It makes getting the spots between buttons far easier than my old iron. Plus, the digital readout on the handle is easy to see and really helps me out. The best part about this iron is the retractable cord that's an amazing 8 feet long!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally used my Sunbeam retractable iron for the last week. It’s the perfect weight not too late not too heavy. Best thing I like about. It is the amount of steam that comes out of it. It makes for a very smooth iron where it doesn’t stick to the material you’re ironing like some other irons I have used in the past.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sunbeam Digital Retractable Iron has some excellent features to make my ironing jobs quicker & easier! The first iron I've ever had with a retractable cord, so convenient & it's also plenty long! I am in love with the different fabric settings, taking the guesswork away and the digital display! Other wonderful features are the burst spray for extra tough wrinkles, larger capacity water tank & the smooth ironing plate! I also like the pointed tip for collars & button areas. An excellent iron that is comfortable to hold, not too heavy & heats up fast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice iron, you have a good amount of options for the settings, it came with a cup for water and boy does it let out a good amount of steam and it pressed my clothes very well as if I took them to the dry cleaners. This iron is very sturdy but easy to glide and I love the color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron turned out to be an even bigger upgrade than I thought from the one I had been using before. Not only does it do a great job with my family’s various clothing, but it’s so easy to use and store. I love the screen and the fact that it has an auto off feature so I never have to panic about whether it’s still on. No water dripping or leaking. Absolutely recommend this iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't imagine what more one would want in an iron. It features a retractable cord, it is very stable with an auto shut-off, It is ant-mineral build-up, multi-heat levels, ample reservoir, and it a breeze to iron with. Ironing is a chore I no longer dread.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recommend this sunbeam professional digital retractable iron. I like the digital part of it where it's so easy to read and easy to choose what setting you want. It's not too heavy and glides smoothly over clothing. Was surprised that it uses tap water and not distilled. But this product compensated for that as well because it also has a cleaning feature that allows you to clean the mineral buildup from it. Love it, just love it.
