Hamilton Beach 12c FlexBrew 5 in 1 Drip Coffee Maker Black: 12 Cup Programmable & Single Serve, 1200W, Ground & Capsule Use

I had to give this a one star to submit review but I would give it zero. This machine is terrible, sounded wonky out the gate, within purchasing of 2 months, it stopped working. Only brewed water. I tried cleaning all needles and cleaning the machine as advised and nothing helped. Luckily I can return this product. Don't buy this!

This is exactly what I was looking for. After having TWO Keurig machines go caput in the same week, I needed something that was more versatile. This brewer makes excellent single brew and a full pot. My husband was impressed with how hot it brews, since the Keurig brewers never got hot enough for him. Brewing time is quick, no matter what setting. I appreciate the way the water tank can be repositioned in either side or in the back. I did end up buying a reusable filter for the carafe, since I didn't realize one was not included. I appreciate the reusable filter for the single serve brewing and the adapter for k-cups. The reusable single filter seems to be easy to clean, but it is bulky, and difficult to empty, since you can only fill it about half way. The machine does stay on for quite a while to keep my carafe warm, so that's a plus. Overall, I am happy with this brewer and I hope it last me awhile.

I got this coffee pot because I needed something versatile and space saving and all the other ones were wide and expensive. I also needed one that pre sets for the morning so it’s ready when I wake up. It works like a charm. Cleaning setting isn’t complicated and can be done with vinegar. I love the reusable cup setting to use my own coffee and that it works with k cups as well. I haven’t yet switched the side of the water carafe but I like that I can change it whenever I want. So far I have been satisfied for the quality and price. It’s not the prettiest coffee pot but it’s not ugly at all and has fit in with my other appliances well. The function of the pot, its versatility and its ease of cleaning are worth it to me.

The Hamilton Beach coffeemaker is A+. The coffee brews almost instantly. You do not have to wait for that perfect cup of coffee. I tried the glass caraff too and again, the process was quick and the coffee hot and wonderful. If you have tried the "others" try this name brand top notch coffee maker. You will not be disappointed.

Had this about a month. The k-cup portion would just randomly shut off during brewing leaving you with a couple of ounces in your cup. Now, it no longer works at all as the water bypasses the K-cup and just goes aroud the k-cup so you just get hot water with no color or flavor. Tried cleaning the needles, that doesn't seem to be the problem. Seemed to sputter and spray water outside the cup even when new. Never worked properly from the start.

Worst purchase made!!! The iced coffee option just gave hot water and now my hot coffee option is so watered down it’s not drinkable. I’ve had this less than 6 months and am so disappointed.

We just used it to brew coffee in the morning. When we replaced it with the Hamilton Beach FlexBrew it not only made our morning coffee routine easier and more reliable. It also introduced us to the pleasures of the multiple flavors of single cup hot coffees and teas for relaxing on the deck in the cool afternoons in the Spring and Fall. And the hot summer afternoons will be so much better with the varieties of single glass iced coffees and teas while we relax after the day's activities. It's easy to set up and learn the options. And the multiple cup size options for the single cup brewing is so convenient. It is very easy to clean, and the compact design only requires a small portion of the valuable counter space.

I also like being able to make iced coffee. Makes a cup of coffee very quickly. Measurements are accurate. Really like how large the reservoir is. I don't have to keep pouring water in coffee maker to make a cup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best coffee maker I have ever owned. I love that it will make a kcup 8 to 14oz, it will make iced coffee, and I can make a carafe 8to 12 cups. I can make it bold or I can make it regular. With the water reservoir I can place it on the side or it can be place on the back of the coffee pot. I highly recommend the Flex Brew Advanced 5 in 1 coffee maker to all. You will not be disappointed with this one.

The water was leaking. Water was filling up in the pot , when you were using the single cup setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker came at the perfect time. My previous one broke so I was definitely looking. I love the sleek look of the touchscreen , it’s fairly easy functionally. Setting the time or setting auto brew still confuses me (the sequence of buttons to press) but also easy enough I benefit from waking up smelling brewed coffee. Although a single user household, when I do have a coffee companion I can make a full pot which is a rare delight. I’ve only used ground coffee, no pods yet but Im not sure there’d be a difference between the two. I wish it came with a started water filter set, while I do only use filtered water a water filter for the reservoir would be a plus. It’s a little larger then my previous so I had to find the counter space, but once rearranged it fits on my counter good.

This is the perfect coffee maker for our family, it's so versatile. My husband drinks a lot of coffee throughout the day so he makes a pot. I enjoy different flavors and types of coffee and usually just have a small cup, so the single brew is perfect for me. The touch screen makes it so easy to go back and forth between options and even choose how many ounces or cups you want to brew! When I saw the features on this Hamilton Beach FlexBrew Advanced 5-in1 I knew I had to have it. It's perfect for our needs and better yet..does more than our one note kcup machine and still fits in the same place on our countertop. We love the drip option with the 12 cup carafe. A feature we had been looking for with a kcup option since we like to entertain. We also love that this coffee maker brews both cold and hot coffee for homemade drinks at home or on the go! And the parts easy to take apart..dishwasher safe for fast clean up. Finally..a coffee maker that does it all for all of our coffee tastes.

Love the preset option and ice option highly recommended for any coffee lover with the carafe and single cup option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an avid coffee drinker, I'm really impressed by this coffee maker. There are many things I like about it and a few things that could use some improvement. I do like that the coffee maker has one tank for water that can use both for the single serve part and a carafe. I find the design of the coffee maker to be sleek and modern. I do like seeing how many ounces of coffee are brewed in lifetime, especially when the carafe Is being utilized. I also like the clock that is always on display. Having a 16 oz option for a single serve cup is a nice feature as well I do find that cleaning of the machine is very simplistic. One of the things I found about the K-Cup dispenser is that when it is finished brewing, when you open the cover, there tends to be excess water. Which makes it a little tricky to try to take out a very hot used K-Cup. I find I have to wait a few minutes before disposing. There is no warning light that there's not enough water in the tank. Unfortunately one of my favorite coffee cups does not fit on the base. Even if I take the base off to accommodate for a taller cup. The base is too wide and it sits off-kilter. So if I do want to use that particular cup I have to stand next to the machine the whole time. I also noticed that sometimes the water tank when I place it back onto the machine sits a little cock-eyed. I have no issues with it dispensing water but it can be an eyesore. Overall, this appliance has been a great addition to our family. It's nice to have a machine where I can use a single K-Cup or use the mini basket to make one single cup of coffee with grounds. And then the next day brew a whole pot of coffee that stays warm for several hours that we can enjoy all morning long. I have already recommended it to others whom are interested in finding a new coffee maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed with the FlecBrew advanced 5 in 1 coffee maker by Hamilton Beach because no matter what size of coffee I brew, or even if it's a flavored k-cup or unflavored, every time that it reaches 3 Oz it stops for a short time, slowly spits out the coffee and then has this low screeching sound. I could understand if I had been using this coffee pot for years to have some issues, but definitely right out of the box. I tried running plain water through to clear it, I have tried wiping it out. But, no matter what I do it just has a horrible sound and hesitates after I reach 3 Oz. This makes me very sad because it is not only a beautiful coffee maker, but it works so much better in my small kitchen. I normally use Hamilton Beach, when it comes to coffee makers, because it is a brand that I trust. I just feel that this particular model is flawed somehow. I wish I could give it 5 stars because it's appearance is the best that I have ever had. But, since it freezes up and screams at me I cannot. I hope whoever else uses this model has better luck than I have had.

DO NOT BUY THIS ONE! The hot plate comes on sometimes, and sometimes not…but it doesn’t stay on for long. And I’ve had it for three months and now it doesn’t brew at all. Just a waste of time and money.
