iRobot Braava jet m6 (6110) Wi-Fi Connected Robot Mop

This mop did a mediocre job cleaning my floors. It’s not overly thorough, but I was willing to overlook that and just commit to running it in my kitchen every other day or so. It’s certainly better than nothing. But after using it for about 8 months, the spray head started to clog and now it just dribbles a little cleaning solution out of it and makes no difference at all in the cleanliness of the space. I’ve tried cleaning/descaling it a variety of ways, but nothing helps for long, if at all. I do not recommend this mop. It also takes 45 min to clean my medium sized kitchen. For reference, it takes me maybe 10 min to steam mop the floors myself. So to summarize, it’s extremely slow and does a mediocre job when new. And less than a year in, it’s pretty much useless.

I've had this product for a couple of years. It used to work great because I didn't have rugs. Now that I have them this is the WORST mop ever. It goes over the rugs, and it is constantly confused with the furniture.

Had issues from the start, would not sync maps with the J9 and rarely docked. Got stuck 90% of the time.

It's not easy to get it connected to the wifi. And will not work without wifi. Every time there is an outage. Or for other random reasons it fails to stay connected and you have to start the entire process all over again. This is counter to any convenience it was originally purchased for.

It's not bad, it's also not great. It doesn't really do as deep of a clean (which you can't really expect for what it is) but for the price points I wish it'd clean a bit better and map things out instead of always running into walls and bumping around. A bigger tank size too would be nice but it's still decent. Im not having to constantly replace the water and solution every clean so that's good. I was given mine and am happy with having it for free what it is. But I would honestly not purchase this myself if I was buying. I see several units that do a better job at a more cost effective price point.

Seems to be difficult to change the pad each time and refill the tank with the cleaning fluid each time as well. Not sure what the work around would be for that so I do the best I can with the time I have.

Returned mop. App never worked as explained it would. Was not able to retrieve map from my j7. Would consider purchasing again if they ever fix problems.

Robot worked great for about a year after I purchased it. Now since it's out of warranty and spent over $400, I have basically garbage since support won't help me. The robot won't create a smart map it will go hit the wall across the way then come back dock and that's all it'll do. I've tried to move it, change parts, clean sensors etc nothing works.

I purchased this mop about a year and a half ago, but I've only used it 10-12 times throughout that time frame. It's just sat on the charger the majority of the time. The last time I went to use the mop it will not connect or perform any functions. It gives an error code which I looked up and a vague description of issues starting up. I've reached out to I-robot about the issue but they haven't made any attempt to resolve this issue. Poor customer service for an expensive product that is internally cheaply made. I recommend to purchase a different brand with a consumer that stands behind their products.

The maps do not save. The robot goes in circles without spraying any cleaning solution.

Easy to setup, good support team if needed, save me time, I can leave the house while it's doing the job, get a text msg when finish.

It gets"lost" too easily. It doesn't do a good overall job of cleaning.

I was hoping that my robot would be well acquainted with my home by now since it's been a few months of just about daily use. It still bumps into the walls a lot, gets "stuck" on nothing and I have to go find it to return it home, it struggles to find its way back home a lot even though there are no obstructions, it ends jobs early with no indication for why, I have to set it to clean a couple of times to ensure that every area is cleaned, and it also requires quite a bit of lighting to be somewhat useful (which is a little inconvenient at times). I love having the extra help but it becomes a little annoying when these issues continue to occur. For the price, I was expecting a much more sophisticated robot and for it to be quicker in learning the areas to clean, etc. Some pros are that the battery life is exquisite, it is rather sleek and perfect in size, and it's surprisingly quiet while cleaning too. Depending on the settings you use and size of the home, it can get through cleaning every area and still have a lot of charge left to touch up any areas as needed, which is fantastic. Another pro is that you can set a lock on the buttons in case pets or children press the buttons. That way it's not starting jobs before you intend to. However, overall, I feel like I'm more disappointed than satisfied with this product especially because of the price. I just expected it to be more precise and less dependent on my being there to ensure that cleaning is completed successfully. Basically, I can't set it to clean while I'm out of the house, which is rather ideal in these cases, because it stops early or gets stuck on nothing at all, etc.

This thing bumps around my house like a drunk frat boy. I have still yet to get it to map the whole place. Spend money, get a better one.

I like the robot. It cleans fairly well. But after two years the right wheel module has stopped working and the support team has been unable to give me a link to buy the part. My expensive robot has turned into a pile of junk!

I purchased this vac/map because I was going to get hardwood floors. Unfortunately this was postponed. Got my floors Hooray. Used the product three times. Just to get the map completed. Now when I try to use it it doesn't work. Says it's not on a level surface—I need to get new wheels. Seriously I used it three times. As far as I'm concerned. Keep your money Not worth a single dime.

My m6 worked great for a couple of years. The wheels started to get worn out and it started slipping on my tile and not able to get any traction. I contacted iRobot and was told they don't have replacement wheels. I was referred to "partner site" for replacement wheels. The replacement tires worked a couple of cycles then became slippery. Thinking maybe I bought a cheap version- I bought another set and the same occurred. So now I have an expensive robot mop in my closet. I just want the original wheels and maybe go back to the original cleaning solution. I don't like the recommended Bona solution.
