In the majority of cases, using tap water would be fine, but if your tap water is relatively dirty, that could cause minor issues over a long period of time.     Mediocre when new; stops working within a year

    This mop did a mediocre job cleaning my floors. It’s not overly thorough, but I was willing to overlook that and just commit to running it in my kitchen every other day or so. It’s certainly better than nothing. But after using it for about 8 months, the spray head started to clog and now it just dribbles a little cleaning solution out of it and makes no difference at all in the cleanliness of the space. I’ve tried cleaning/descaling it a variety of ways, but nothing helps for long, if at all. I do not recommend this mop. It also takes 45 min to clean my medium sized kitchen. For reference, it takes me maybe 10 min to steam mop the floors myself. So to summarize, it’s extremely slow and does a mediocre job when new. And less than a year in, it’s pretty much useless.

    My robot mop was a Christmas present in 2022. It worked great for a while!! Loved! Now a wheel is supposedly keeping it from working. I called and talked to a service repairer and all y'all could do is NaoTHING. No parts to replace it with. The gentleman suggested I trade it in on a new one. Trade in was 35.00. Are you serious. I will use my own mop. You pay for what you get. I will never pay this much for a mop that quits working so quickly because of a wheel that can't be replaced. No thank you

    You are totally out of touch with reality as a company. Bad product, both Brava and Roomba j5+. No updates, both robots hit objects in my home with full force. They broke my furniture. I have no comment. Honestly, the worst robots on the market. First and last time to buy iRobot. Not recommended to anyone. Never again. Sorry.

    I've had this product for a couple of years. It used to work great because I didn't have rugs. Now that I have them this is the WORST mop ever. It goes over the rugs, and it is constantly confused with the furniture.

    It's not easy to get it connected to the wifi. And will not work without wifi. Every time there is an outage. Or for other random reasons it fails to stay connected and you have to start the entire process all over again. This is counter to any convenience it was originally purchased for.

    It's not bad, it's also not great. It doesn't really do as deep of a clean (which you can't really expect for what it is) but for the price points I wish it'd clean a bit better and map things out instead of always running into walls and bumping around. A bigger tank size too would be nice but it's still decent. Im not having to constantly replace the water and solution every clean so that's good. I was given mine and am happy with having it for free what it is. But I would honestly not purchase this myself if I was buying. I see several units that do a better job at a more cost effective price point.

    Seems to be difficult to change the pad each time and refill the tank with the cleaning fluid each time as well. Not sure what the work around would be for that so I do the best I can with the time I have.

    Robot worked great for about a year after I purchased it. Now since it's out of warranty and spent over $400, I have basically garbage since support won't help me. The robot won't create a smart map it will go hit the wall across the way then come back dock and that's all it'll do. I've tried to move it, change parts, clean sensors etc nothing works.

    I purchased this mop about a year and a half ago, but I've only used it 10-12 times throughout that time frame. It's just sat on the charger the majority of the time. The last time I went to use the mop it will not connect or perform any functions. It gives an error code which I looked up and a vague description of issues starting up. I've reached out to I-robot about the issue but they haven't made any attempt to resolve this issue. Poor customer service for an expensive product that is internally cheaply made. I recommend to purchase a different brand with a consumer that stands behind their products.
