After our first years-old-roomba ran over some dog mess…. I decided to just upgrade to this model. It’s definitely got some mixed reviews, but I thought.. it cant be that bad, can it? Especially because I don’t need the mapping feature or whatever. Just go around the room and vacuum and let’s be done. I’ve used it maybe 4 times and it already has 2 issues. The first being that when it “goes home” aka places itself back at its dock.. it doesn’t position itself correctly to charge. At first, I thought it could just be user-error.. but it’s definitely the device not working properly. Second… The robot will not empty itself into the dock. How can it vacuum the entire level of a home 4x (we have a toddler and a dog!) and not find it necessary to empty into the dock? I finally emptied it manually and that thing was jam-packed full. This thing is being retuned. I’m gonna try to find the old old version we used to have. More “features”, more problems.

Terrible.. does not work like description, does not map your home, it doesn’t even self empty, I have manually empty the roomba myself, hope target takes it back without the box because it literally sucks. It has never stayed connected to my internet either. It just stops working randomly. Terrible so not buy!!

This item did not work. Upon further research, I found this item frequently arrives with issues. For me, it would not connect to the docking station and therefore would not charge. This is not my first Roomba so I had no issues with set up, but was inoperable from day 1.

It does really well on both! I really like the fact it docks itself and self empties every time it runs. I haven't had any issues with it so far. It definitely saves me some time with regular vacuuming. I would definitely recommend it!

The refill bags are reasonably priced and hold a good amount of dirt/dust. Battery life seems to hold up throughout the cleaning I’ve tested it up to 3 hours. It did have a hard time learning the layout of my home and skipped my bathroom every-time even with door open. It does a great job surface cleaning, but I wouldn’t use it as a primary vacuum source. I have 2 golden retrievers and it doesn’t do well with long dog hair and gets caught in the wheels

This is my second irobot roomba. My first one was 6 years ago and was amazing but one of the kids stepped on it and damaged it. I didn’t care for the two in one options with mop I like to do my own mopping so went with this model and a nice Black Friday sale.As far as vacuuming it does a nice job for my open floor kitchen and family room and pet hair. But the App constantly disconnects or Error (please try again later) it’s so frustrating. I have great wifi btw have to due to work from home, plus we have other devices that work just fine. When it empties out get prepaid to be startled and will send your kids, cats and dogs running for their lives, it’s very loud. But to have it self empty is definitely a nice feature. The noise level while vacuuming is good doesn’t bother me. When I first set it up it did its mapping thing but on the next job it kept bumping into furniture and cats that were chilling lol. Cleaning it out is good too better than my old one. Parts disconnected easily for cleaning.Fix your app!

It’s performance is amazing, it does vacuum pretty good, only downside is, since it’s a linear cleaning not a mapping system, it doesn’t really gets to clean all areas if there is a table let’s say, because that happened to me. There is a table in the hallway so it cleaned around it but not behind the table because it kept moving to the side while cleaning so I had to manually place it behind the table for it to clean. I know this is the type of vacuum I was getting, I’m just explaining the downside of this method of cleaning. But overall I really liked it. Other thing I did not like (I don’t know if I missed looking somewhere but I looked everywhere for this setting & couldn’t find it), when setting a schedule, you cannot change how much time you want it to clean at that schedule. It’s only default is “clean everywhere” & that’s like almost 2 hrs & I do want a schedule but not for 2 hours, & don’t want to manually be activating my favorite setting for 15 minutes. Idk, I found that kind of sad not being able to set the time on a schedule. Don’t get me wrong, it has its downsides but its functionality is amazing!! It cleans really well & I love that it comes with a tool to clean it & cut hairs from the ball on the front. I love it! I wanted to add two videos of it but it wouldn’t just let me😭😭

It is very reliable, and honestly, it picks up more around the house than I do. It gets dirt, crumbs, and other items, that I can do get with my broom. However, this Roomba is better than the one I have. Not only does it come with its on dock, but it empties itself as well. This is something that the old one did not have. Another thing, with this Roomba, I feel like the suction power is a little stronger. Before, my old Roomba would leave pieces of trash that were very obvious to the eye, but this one picks literally everything up. One thing that is very helpful is that I have carpet and hard wood, and my Roomba still manages to not care and just cleans. This Roomba has helped out so much. It is efficient, it is less loud than a vacuum, and it honestly has a pretty fast charging time. I run my Roomba for probably 45 minutes to an hour, and it has still yet to die on me. Lastly, everything is manageable through the app!!!! The app is so helpful! This product is helpful. Everything that Roomba has to offer is helpful! I would give this more than 5 stars if I could!!!!

Battery life is decent, it runs for a good while before needing a recharge. It's super easy to empty the bag in dustbin, just pop it out and toss it in the garbage. Programming is a breeze, even I figured it out! If you're looking for a simple and effective robot vacuum, this one's a winner. My only dislikes are it gets stuck under low ledges, such as my dishwasher and my refrigerator, then creates an error and stops working (needing the assistance of a human). It cleans up most of the room, but not all of it. I am hoping it is still learning my Floorplan. I'm hanging in there and giving it some more time! Overall, it's a good little bot.

Like many other products you have to switch to the 2.4hz in order to connect it, but once I was able to do that it was easy peasy. I live in a very small apartment (500 square feet) and I have a lot of area rugs and stuff on the floor. I was amazing how well this thing took fluffy rugs and stuff in the way. It bumped at first but then it moved along. I have cats and I have a lot of cat hair in the rugs and it cleaned it right up. The app is very easy to use. The battery life does my apartment with no issues and the noise level is minimal. It’s a cool little guy. I highly recommend this product.
