The Shark matrix has good suction. But it drags cords, even pulling lamps off tables And it gets stuck on bathroom rugs and small objects like dog toys. The app is also awful. It loses the password frequently and has required me to re-map the house several times. My last r**mba wasn't great, but far better than this.

Mediocre robot vac - maybe would work better in a pet free home. It seemed to work well at first. But the spin brush now comes off when the surface changes (wood floor to rug). I ordered replacements and it is still happening. For the price I had higher hope. It does a small area of my second floor. It clearly picks up hair / dust as there is debris in the dustbin. But there is still visible pet hair when it’s gone over an area.

OK - I held off for years investing in a robo-style vacuum.. I guess I didn't believe the tiny thing would be worth the cost. I've always had Dysons, which do a great job, but with two cats and kids I feel like I'm always, always vacuuming and it's so annoying. I finally decided to invest in this Shark and I'm literally so happy. I'm telling it what to clean and when (when I'm at work)! It's working for me!! It does a great job too. Each time I go to emtpy the debris, it's always full. Always. Make sure you have it "map" the house or else to me it's pointless. I just love using the app while I'm away and then knowing it's cleaning while I'm gone.

Garbage. Don't buy. It takes 49 minutes to clean a 10x10 room with a couch in it. There's nothing else in the room. Then it will keep hitting the couch over and over. Can't find the dock 98% of the time and is very loud.

It does a good job keeping the map and finding it's way around. The problem is the brush roller and filter. We've only had it for about 3 months and had to replace the roller because long dog hair got wrapped around about over the roller you can't access, which seized it. The filter isn't removable, so it's hard to clean unless you have canned air. There are better designed products out there. Would not buy again.

You will love this vacuum at first. Work like a charm, cleans well. After a few months, it will stop working. It won’t pick up dirt it used to and the battery will stop working. I have found it all over the house, just dead. Didn’t even go back to its dock like it once did. Shark customer service was of no help. Sent me a whole new body instead of replacing the battery only for it to have the same issues as before. Save yourself the headache.

It works perfect! Mapped my home so fast and go to cleaning , I use it once a day to clean my living room and bedroom, from the app I can control it! I love it wish I bought it earlier! Shark quality!!

So many issues. This replaced an older Eufy that was far more effective at picking up pet hair and dust. It gets stuck repeatedly on furniture- anything with a leg base on the floor. It gets stuck on door transitions. It basically cannot be left alone to clean because it will get stuck 3-10 times per room and have to be manually removed from whatever it is stuck on. I so regret this purchase. The only problem is the ability to map the rooms and send it to clean a specific area. But there you are having to supervise it.

This is very helpful for keeping the house clean. I have hard floors with a couple area rugs, and two carpeted bedrooms. It transfers easily between all the surfaces. Based on how much comes out when I empty the cup I’m satisfied with it. It does get sick sometimes, once it went into the bathroom and somehow got behind the door (the door was all the way open) so I had to help it. It also doesn’t always pay attention to the “no go” zones, but has never fallen down the stairs so that’s good. Seems to waste time and energy tho. Goes down the hall to clean my office, goes back down the hall to the living room, down the hall again to the master, back down the hall too the kitchen, then returns to the office and bedroom for three swipes again in those rooms. A bit inefficient. Takes 2 hours 25 minutes to clean 1,000 sq ft of space. Still love it.

It gets everything. It’s such an efficient way to clean everyday. I love that it doesn’t bump into everything like my old roomba, and it’s a lot more quiet than the roomba.

Worked great at first. Now a few months in, the suction has decreased and I have to use a regular vacuum after to get what was missed. Disappointed as it is not convenient. Also can’t order just a filter, need the entire debris catcher.

Giving it an extra star because it does clean very well. However, our machine makes an awfully loud turning noise. I have had previous shark vacuum machines that have not made a noise like this. Unsure if it is my machine or overall what every machine is like. I did contact shark warranty and their remedy was “you can take the roller out and it will eliminate the noise” and that it is normal wear and tear. I would understand wear and tear if I had the product for over a year but I have only had it for one month. And why should I have to remove a piece that has an important function if the machine is defective?

I have three kids, two large dogs (heavy shedding golden retriever and a chocolate lab), long-haired cat, and we live out in the country tracking in dust, dirt and debris. I vacuum at LEAST once a day, sometimes twice, sweep constantly and mop daily. I have hardwoods throughout except a high pile area rug in great room and a few low pile area rugs in kitchen. I previously had a roomba that didn’t work well. It was super loud, got stuck every time, and just sort of wandered around banging hard off everything. My hopes weren’t high. This shark was so easy to map, to mark off no go zones, etc. The WiFi and app seem to work great so far. It cleans awesome and leaves those beautiful vacuum lines in my carpet. It’s also so quiet for a vacuum. It doesn’t bang into anything and hasn’t gotten stuck yet. I do have couches and tables and stools that are off the floor and my room a would get lodged under them and the battery would die, never finishing a clean. This thing avoids those areas on its own and what it goes under it gets out of. I am hoping to only have to drag out my regular vacuum once or twice a week now. The reason for the four stars was it clearly says in the target ad this is “self-emptying” and it is not. That was a bummer. I got it for $199 on a deal day though so I’m overall super happy and impressed with it!

Cleans fairly well on hard floors. Bought because of non tangle brush roller - although that works with my dogs hair on my upright Shark it wraps around this roller. Shark only offers a replacement dust bin. No replacement for brush roller and side brush and the knock offs on Amazon don’t work.

As advertised, once programmed, AWESOME!

I bought this to replace another robot vacuum that I had, that sadly died to the point I could not repair it. I appreciated the LIDAR functionality on the old one, so wanted to replace like for like. This robot vacuum is an idiot. It meanders through your home, it doesn't always obey "No go zones", you cannot see where it actually cleaned, and it gets stuck about 50% of the time. I did everything I could to assist it and give it time, to see if things would smooth out. It did not. Do not purchase. Go with a Wyze vacuum instead.
