A: There is no way to disable the auto-empty feature. However, if there are times you would like to be quiet, you can set up "Do Not Disturb" for certain days and times. You will find this under the schedule feature in the app.

A: Hello, If you have a + after the model number, it means it is a self emptying robot. The robot you are looking at has no self emptying features. The Roomba Combo i5+ is what you are looking for.

A: Hello, This can be used without the app, but you would be missing on a lot of features. It cannot be used from a website on your computer. If you have a + after the model number, it means it is a self emptying robot. The robot you are looking at has no self emptying features.

I'm disabled and was disappointed in this product since most wifi now is 5g the i5 is only good with 2g so don't purchase it. I am hoping that I can exchange this product.

After making and deleting several maps that the vacuum won't follow I can say this is a flawed designed. It simply will enter a mapped room and turn around and leave duplicating other areas. It frequently will force itself and get stuck in tight spots instead of cleaning wide open spaces. Many hours of frustration, I give up.

This is absolutely garbage not only did it take an hour for it to connect to my Wi-Fi but then within 2 minutes of running it says it can't connect to my wi-fi. When I contact a customer service they told me to disconnect every item I have connected to my Wi-Fi and reset everything. I never heard of such a stupid idiotic thing before in my life. For how much you pay for this garbage you would expect it to work

it couldn't get a map because it's too strong for my furniture. In the office, i have 2 chairs with wheels and it pushed them around which meant it could never accurately map the office. It also kept pushing around a trash can which interferred with it being able to map. I wanted to like it, other users have said theirs has been working for many years.

When I purchased this online to pick it up in the store, it was listed as a new Roomba. When we brought it home and opened it, it was very used. I looks like someone used this for 6 months. The wheels had gunk in them, it was scratched up and the brushes and all compartments were worn down and a bit dirty. I did not intend to purchase a used product.

If this vacuum is actually working and not stuck somewhere that it shouldn’t have even been able to get to, it’s leaving multiple things on your floor. I gave it months to sort out its issues but it doesn’t seem to actually be able to “map” my 650sqft apartment that has no carpet.

My iRobot app constantly says my Roomba is offline and needs to be rebooted. Every. Single. Time. Sometimes I need to reboot several times before my Roomba will work - which can take up to 15-20 mins. (I have very good wifi and no problems with any other device in my home.) Once she is running she does great. It's just the frustration of getting her to even start that makes me not want to even bother most days.

I've bought seven Roombas among our family over the years, recommended many more, and am a big fan of them. The i5 combo was so disappointing I have returned it. The smart mapping tries to be too clever for its own good. Per this screenshot, despite having created an impressive map of my ground floor, life was spent 'travelling' and not 'vacuuming'. It would spend ages trying to locate itself despite already being in the room it was supposed to clean, containing its home base. Worst of all, while I knew it could only have one smart map (so my first and second floor would be unmapped), it refused to clean rooms not on the map, making it entirely useless as a home machine. This and unreliable Google Home commands, indecipherable coloured indicators, and a smaller bin than older models, was enough. Back to my ten year old 870 which is almost flawless.

If your floor is like 1500-1800 sqft or less, it might be a great value! Mopping is not great cause it’s just a wet pad on the floor the whole time. No suction of dirty water. But a good lil vacuum! Unfortunately we will be returning cause it just cannot seem to get a map of our entire floor *and* this particular i5 model cannot add rooms later without just running a new map (and deleting the old before creating a new map) and/or do a “clean anywhere”. We have had it run now 4x at 7+ hrs on both “clean and discover” and “new map” (2x for each) and it cannot successfully complete our entire floor. The app is great and much better than our old Neato and also our shark.

It do a good job it come with good mapping not it no camera so you can’t put any zone but it do come with mapping but have or let it map not vacuum it do work with the roomba i7* empty but you can’t let it map form the i7+ empty bin I think I like the i5 more then the i7

I have had this model since April and already had to replace parts. My older one survived years and this one does not seem to be holding up at all! I have 2 dogs, but bought this one due to reviews (which didn't hold up). I clean every day and empty and still have had to replace brushes. Would not purchase this one again.

We have a Roomba 630 that did great for six years. Looked to upgrade as parts were needing to be replaced, and the i5 hasn't lived up the hype. The room mapping is a nice touch. But he i5 is EXTREMELY loud compared to the 630. We used to run the 630 at night downstairs when kids were asleep upstairs, but the i5 is much louder where it is very noticable upstairs and becomes an issue. The i5 dust bin is also half the size of the 630, so it often needs to stop halfway to empty the bin. Last week, my i5 would not move, but show on the app as cleaning. Hopefully customer service can help while the 630 gets back into action.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Truthfully I am pretty disappointed in this robot vacuum. We've owned a couple of robot vacuums over the years but never this brand so I was very excited to try it. We have one dog now (3 when we got our last one) and even with running every morning it still isn't keeping up with the hair. It also gets stuck in small rugs often, we have seen that issue before though. The mop feature left more of a wet streak than actually cleaning. And mopping and vacuuming is VERY loud. But worst of all, one of the brushes on the spinner already snapped off 😫 I really hate to write poor reviews but this vacuum fully missed the mark for me.
