  • A: To install the Keurig Water Filter, simply follow the below steps: Step 1: Soak the charcoal filter cartridge in fresh water for 5 minutes. After soaking, rinse the filter cartridge under running water for 60 seconds. Step 2: On the bottom of the handle, press in the tabs on both sides of the base at the same time and pull down to separate. Insert the filter cartridge. Step 3: Reattach the bottom of the Water Filter Handle. Step 4: Insert the handle into your empty, removable Water Reservoir. Be sure to push down firmly all the way down to correctly attach the Water Filter to the inside of your removable Water Reservoir.   • A: The K-Café SMART coffee maker does not brew espresso - it brews espresso style beverages. It does not use pressure to brew the K-Cup pods. It brews the K-Cup pods the way any other Keurig brewer brews them, but since it only brews at a 2oz size, it is a more concentrated, stronger cup of coffee that resembles the flavor and roast of a classic espresso beverages. Unfortunately, this is my second Keurig (same model). Decided to give it another try even though our first one operated for less than a year. The reason the first one only lasted a year was due to a unknown issue that no one could solve, called Keurig and was told they would replace it for free but I had to show proof of purchase. Another unfortunate issue because we lost the receipt but I registered the machine on the Keurig app/website the same day we purchased it from our military exchange store. Needless to say, we ended up purchasing another one. So we will give it another go and hope we get to enjoy this one longer.

This will be the 3rd coffee machine in 5 months. The first worked for 3 months then started giving me errors and not making coffee. Keurig replaced the first one within 2 days! Then the new machine just died. No power and an electrical fire smell. The 3rd machine took 10 days to receive. One star removed because 3 new machines and long wait time for the 2nd replacement.

I have received 3 inoperable replacements. One had a small electrical fire and the other two have software that is incapable of connecting to the internet, making smart features unusable. This also creates a "please wait" issue which I can only imagine is it's attempt to connect to the internet, and after 15 minutes, you get to make a cup of coffee. We have a 3 month old baby and really just want some coffee.

I recently got the keurig k-café smart coffee maker and it's honestly amazing. The wifi feature is super convenient — I can start brewing from my phone, which is perfect for those mornings when I’m still half asleep. The different brew sizes are great too, whether I’m just grabbing a small cup or need a big one to power through the day. The milk frother is such a nice touch, and I’ve been making some really good lattes and cappuccinos at home. It’s way easier to use than I expected, and cleaning it has been simple too. The black design looks sleek on my counter, which is a bonus. If you’re thinking about upgrading your coffee setup, I’d totally recommend this one. It’s been a game changer for me.

I love it, it works great and it’s not as bulky as my last coffee machine. It’s also really cool that I can use my phone to brew my coffee it makes it easy to prep it and just feed my son while I wait.
