Q: What is the best age for this and is it reusable?
A: Thank you for your question. The National Geographic Crystal Garden Science Kit is suitable for any child over 8 years old. Once you place the trees in the crystal growing solution, you will see crystals start to form. If your crystals fall off, simply add them back to the tree base with a little water and regrow your tree! You can also try removing the grown crystal solution, allow the tree to dry and add more washable marker coloring before adding the crystals back to the base of the tree with additional water.

Q: How many crystals are included in the kit?
A: Our Crystal garden kit does not contain any crystals. It does contain 2 packets of liquid crystal solution for your use in creating your own crystal growing trees.
