My son loved this science kit. He’s 8 and was the perfect age to do it on his own. Younger children could definitely have fun with this, they’d just need some assistance.
So much fun!

I purchased this gift for my 3 boys for family time over the holidays, it was a great hit! The experiments are all so fun and easy, and all provide lots of fun and learning. The gross experiments lets you play with eyeballs, dissect brains and do so many fun things. I love that its STEM and educational and the boys love it! I am so happy with this purchase.

These kits are amazing ! They come with all the supplies and detailed instructions . My son was so amazed at the results of these and it also teaches the importance of following instruction. These experiments are also relatable in their gross factor to kids and keeps their interest ! I also love how this kit comes with sticker labels to label their final products !

My nephew and I decided to start the experiments on a Saturday afternoon and lasted well into the evening ! This kit came with safety glasses, many tools and everything you need to have your own chemistry lab. We started with the boiled boogers because these two guys love anything gross and slimy ! I think our favorite experiment was the brain...how cool ! I know that he was supposed to be learning while having a great time, but all I can remember is the laughing and excitement coming from both of us. This set is definitely a must have for any child and any adult who is a child at heart.
Lots of good, gross fun!

My 13 y/o and 9 y/o were so excited to open this kit up! It contains everything they need to conduct their own fun (and gross) experiments and make things like brains, eyeballs, blood cells, etc. I stayed nearby in case help was needed, but they pretty much conducted the experiments on their own. They made the eyeballs and blood cells, and I heard a lot of laughing going on while they did it. They tried to make the brain as well, but must have missed a step or measured wrong because it would not solidify - but no problem, they said they are just going to try again! I love that they can use this set again and again, and it allows for some good sister bonding time as well!
Perfect Gross Toy

My son has been wanting a chemistry set for a while, he loves doing little experiments, so what better gift than to give him "gross" experiments. The National Geographic Gross Chemistry Set is the perfect set for a 8 year old boy that loves to try new l=things, but also likes to get a little dirty and likes gross stuff. He was so excited to open and start the experiments and the best is he did not get through all of them at once. So I like that it lasted and was fun he could do over and over.
Gross but in a fun way

This is GROSS, well fun gross that is. My kids loved mixing all the stuff together to make booger slime , eyeballs brains and more. They loved seeing the transformation happening of all mixed together, and then loved playing with the slime boogers and messing with the brain, it also helped them understand what was what and so. This kit came with so much to do and is a fun but also educational experience.

I got this kit to do with my kids during October! It looked gross and it was! Ha! They were laughing at the different things we were making, boogers, guts, brains etc! So gross! But that’s what we wanted! It had a variety of things that were easier then others to make. So I even let me 3 year old do some. I had to help all three of my kids with this. I was planning on that anyways to prevent a huge mess and food coloring is involved. They loved it! Easy instructions. So many fun science equipment to use.
