Q: Is this a heavy mop once it gets wet? I am looking for something to use in a tall shower that won't be so heavy once it's wet.

Use for cleaning walls/shower walls is at the consumers discretion if the walls are made of floor-like materials such as stone, tiles, and sealed hardwood (including wood, parquet, and laminate). I bought one of these mops to replace the same mop I bought several years ago and it broke within the first couple of uses. In order to ring it out you're only supposed to have to use one hand to turn and crank it so Your hands stay dry. It would no longer tighten unless I held both the bottom, wet part and the handle that you twist. I thought maybe it was a fluke because my last one held up so well I went I bought another one. Literally the exact same thing happened the first use. Oh also that little red circle you see in the picture on the end of the mop will fall off with a few uses and then the entire time you mop you just hear it scratching the floor. This thing is a piece of you know what.

At first I really loved this mop . It cleaned well , was easy to use and didn’t retain a ton of water . However after 3 uses the mop started to come apart . First the red circle on the bottom and then the plastic cap . After 6 uses the mop does not stay attached to the bottom so you can straighten and wring it out . It may just have been a defective batch but this is my 3rd mop with this same issue happening .

Honestly, I really don’t recommend. I could understand the concept of auto-wringing instead of using your hands to squeeze a mop head but, this was terrible. Barely works, as it remains soaked. This isn’t the worst part though. Since it’s not a flat mop head, dirt and hair, etc., gets stuck in between. Like I didn’t even want to throw it in the laundry to avoid anything being stuck in the machine. I threw it away and there’s no replacements so I only have the stick. I’ll opt for the spin mop and bucket. See how that gos.

I have two sled dogs in Southern California so my floors get dirty really quickly. I stuck with disposable cleaning pads for years but my floors were never really clean enough. I bought this so I could wash the mop after every use and WOW. My floors have never looked cleaner. Best thing is I feel like I hardly broke a sweat and it took a fraction of the time it usually takes me to clean! I love this thing!

Literally the worst mop I have ever used. The wring function does NOT work. I ended up wringing it manually and the water was pouring off when I did. I will be returning in. Dollar store mops work better than this.

This is an absolutely horrible mop. First, the wrong action seems like it would be great, but the strands of the mop get twisted all up. I had to take the mop head off to untwist it just so I could use it. Second, you physically pull the mop head back up and then twist to get the water out. I caught my finger doing this and now have a huge blood blister. Finally, it does not mop well at all. I’ve normally used a sponge mop and I’ll go back to those.
