Q: Does it stand up on its own??

A: Once you remove the handle portion from the stick - it sits down infront on the hook at the bottom of the stick at the base. That's how I store mine, it's easy enough that even if I'm just sitting it down for a few moments to move things around I can unhook and rehook it quickly.

A: It stays on without holding it down. Just push the Hutton to floor or carpet and that's it til you are finished then touch the button to off.

Uhg, i'm so mad at myself for not doing more research before buying this. I LOVE shark vacuums, but this one is really not very strong. There are a lot of better vacuums for getting the stairs/house than this one. It's good, the charge lasts a long time... but it's definitely not the most powerful. I wish I could return and research a little better.

Bought this as a replacement for my Dyson. It is not a replacement. I still have to use my Dyson after I use this vacuum. I’m not sure why it’s called a pet vacuum when pet hair easily clogs it almost every time I use it. I have one cat and one small dog. There are some low carpets in my home as well as some hard wood. When it’s not clogged it works okay. I do like that you don’t have to hold a trigger while using this vacuum unless you’re using the boost. However, the wheels make this horrible squeaky sound if you pull back fast.

I do not recommend this product. It hasn't even been two years since we got this and the battery no longer holds a charge. It's too expensive to be garbage like this.

I loveddddd this vaccune when I first got it Hense the two stars (purchased in August). But lately it’s not cleaning anymore. It’s spitting out debris everywhere and just not auctioning as much as it used to. Idk who to ask for help w repair because it was working well.

I would say this only worked well for two months. We got the vaccum only a few months ago, and the device is now spitting out dirt and will not suck anything. we used it normally, Definitely not worth the price, while the cordless part of it is nice, this just does not work well at all. I wish we could get a refund or that there was a protection plan.

Switched from a Dyson to this and really regret it. I’ve used it only a handful of times and there is already dog hair matted so bad in the little wheels that it does not push around smoothly. It’s called the pet pro, you would think i wouldn’t have this issue when I haven’t even used it much. I also don’t feel like it sucks nearly as much as my Dyson did.

My Shark vacuum is about 2 years old and the battery still lasts closer to an hour every use. The top detaches from the orange stick for dumping the canister or for spot cleaning, and if I vacuum an hour I probably have to empty it 5-6 times, but it’s get easy to do with the button to pop open the bottom. I do have almost 3 feet of hair and I have 2 short-haired cats, so there’s always a lot of hair in my house to clean up. I do have to clear the plastic roller every few months as well for the same reason (largely because of my hair), but it’s very easy to pull apart every piece of this vacuum to do things like that as needed. I just recommended it to my mother who is vacuum shopping, and I’d definitely tell anyone else that this is a sound investment as well.

This is a terrible vacuum. I purchased it to use on my downstairs floors since it’s tile and a couple of area rugs. I’ve had it for a month and it already doesn’t have suction to where it drops dust as I am vacuuming. It’s terrible with pet hair. We have a hypo allergenic labradoodle that doesn’t shed and a cane corso who does shed but it’s a very small amount of short hair. I 100% regret this purchase. Buy a different vacuum.

This vacuum is awful! I used it for the first time after fully charging it and I noticed it wasn’t picking up as much stuff as I thought it should. I opened the underneath part of the vacuum and it was clogged not even 5 minutes after using it! Do NOT buy it unless you want to unscrew the bottom to unclog it every 5 minutes.

I think it is a good vacuum for my small home (two kids and small dog + hardwood floors/area carpet). If I had a bigger dog or more carpet in my house, I’d probably prefer a more heavy duty vacuum. Battery dies fast when you use the “max suction” option but it is Small and convenient.

Works decently for a small home. Poorly designed, not easy to use. It can’t stand upright on its own. You have to remove the vacuum head just to walk away. Only had two suctions modes without any adjustment for pressure. Poorly designed for its price point.
