Q: I have had this vacuum for a few months & it will not suction properly anymore… will at times spit back out what it just vacuumed. Has anyone else had this issue or have any suggestions? I have cleaned out the filter, etc.

A: Make sure brush, hose, all filters are clean... might be tome to replace filter especially if you been vacuuming lot of dirt/ dust...
submitted byKatie03 - 4 months agoA: I have had several of these vacuums still do but the hair clogs them up quick! I use a wood skewer to pull the hair out from behind the roller brushes - it's a drag but when it's not clogged up it works great!

Q: Do you have to hold the button the whole time your vacuuming?

A: Basically yes. There's a button to turn it on, but it's about as powerful as sucking up dirt with a drinking straw, so you have to hold the button for "extra power" down the whole time.

A: It's cheaper model thus doesn't have one... some vacuums fold n this one doesn't which makes things a bit difficult...

A: It is super lightweight. I love it for that reason and because it works so well. If you have lots or solids to pick up the booster lever helps a lot.

A: We would like to let you know that this unit will not stand up on its own. It would need to be leaned against something or you can remove the handheld from the wand and store it on the storage hook where the bottom of the wand connects to the floor nozzle.

My vacuum broke, the plastic part by the wheel . My last two vacuums were Shark uprights which worked great. I have stairs so I decided to try a stick vacuum this time . I saw this vacuum in the store I thought would be good because it is by shark. It is lightweight. The suction is not as good as the upright vacuum. I need to hold the trigger to get more suction and even then it is not that good, barely leaves any vacuum lines compared to my last vacuum. Sometimes makes a wired noise when bring the vacuum back towards me . And cannot vacuum rugs /mats it will automatically stop and the light turns red . I wished I looked at reviews before buying,

I have had my vacuum less than a year. I really love it and it is perfect for my disability. I love no cord! Took me a while to get used to looking for the cord without tripping. BUTTTTT.... It only runs for a few minutes and stops. I've learned how to take the bottom off and clean it but that doesnt help. I am very sad and disappointed.

I bought and received the stick vacuum this month and have been very disappointed. The Vacuum Cleaner shut off with in 5-10 minutes. The cannister has very littl in it so, that’s not the problem. I spoke to Shark today and they are sending me the top piece as a replacement. I pray that it’s better. This is the Second stick vac. The first was corded and even it would clogged up in the tubes and shut down. Very dissapointed especially coming from Shark. I also own one of Shark cannister Vacuum and it’s wonderful, but heavy!

I used first time and red light come on when I was vacuuming the rug. Just turned off and on and went back to vacuuming. Not sure what that was about but would like more suction I think

This little machine is a monster! It works great. It is lightweight and easy to assemble, operate and clean out. It picks up hair from my labradors very effectively from both 5he wood floor and the carpet. Very easy to maneuver around and under furniture. Practically pulls itself across the floor. No cords to accidentally pull out or get caught. Am super pleased and highly recommend this product.

If I could I would give this 0 stars. It is constantly clogging. I have to clean it after every use. We have 1 cat that lives mostly outside. This was not worth a penny.

I have had this vacuum for a year and a half and I’ve finally decided this is not a good vacuum. I tried my hardest to love it but it is horrible for pet hair and other small dust and dirt on hardwood floors. It worked well at first but for the price it has not held up and I’m very disappointed.

I love this little vacuum. It's small, lightweight, cordless, and has lights. Mine started making a weird noise and wasn't vacuuming good at all. There's a small plate on the bottom that can be removed by turning three plastic screws. You can use a coin to turn them to the open position and the plate pops right off. Mine was clogged with dust and fuzz. All that came right out easily and the vacuum works good as new again. Glad I bought this vacuum!

After 2 weeks it did just like everyone else's and now it just moves dirt around. Gonna have to start the whole return process thing because they wanna sell a cheap product. Used to love shark for the money, clearly they have changed.

Very disappointed. I have to pull the small trigger handle in order for it to work really well and that kills the battery. Never will I purchase this again. Money down the drain.

Cant vaccum light rugs, head doesnt turn, head flips up.

I have tile and it will not vacuum the thin rugs under the beds and little scatter rugs. They get sucked up into the vacuum. The head dies not turn side ways so it is not able to get into some places. The machine is very light so the head constantly flipped up while trying to vacuum carpet. Its not worth the money or messing with.

This vaccine does not work on our washable carpets, it shuts off. Does not have great suction power. I would only recommend for very light cleaning on hard surfaces.

*DO NOT BUY** This was my first big name brand vacuum purchase. I’ve had this vacuum since January and I clogs hair so easily. It does not pick up litter very well. I spend so much time cleaning the vacuum that I do using it. My cheap vacuum that I bought off of Amazon did a better job and didn’t get clogged easily. Save your money and do not buy this. I wish I never bought it
