If you are thinking about ordering something that you hope stays sealed until it arrives, go ahead and take a look at what I found when opening the box. No bubble wrap or anything to keep things from moving around probably caused one container to open. Careless. Maybe Target should care more about its order fullfillment and less about appeasing political haters.

When doing my toddlers curly hairstyles, the Cantu avocado styling gel is my go to product because it holds my baby’s hairstyles in place without creating any flakes ir dryness some other gels do. It also smells great and comes in a huge container so it takes a while to run out.

This product works very well along side other cantu products, which I love. The scent is light and not overpowering. The texture is smooth and not too thick, my hair loves shea butter so that’s a plus for sure. It works so well when you want to define your curls, I think it performs pretty well.

It smells great! There is a lot of product for the price. However, the hold was not that great. I use it on my toddler and his curls end up flattening out by the middle of the day. I wish it had more of a hold

Smells good and that's about it. I'm a black male. My hair type is like a 4B. This made my hair dry and stiff. I also never had dandruff like this until I started using this product. So much dandruff. It claims to be hydrating. Where?? I acually started adding oil to this product because it was so drying, but I'm just going to look for something better.

Sadly this left a flakey white cast which is very visible since I have dark hair. Based off of the packaging, I wasn’t expecting an extreme hold but this barely gave me any hold and definitely did not last. I tried this many times in hopes I’d end up liking it but it just isn’t good and ended up getting tossed in the trash.

A lil smaller than i thought i thought it was going to be thicker and didnt really hold my hair and i have type 4C hair but i think its nt for us gurlys but for curly and wavey hair.

This gel holds back my baby hairs and keeps my hair from staying frizzy all day. Works great for sports and just everyday activities. Doesn’t make your hair hard or crispy and doesn’t make it appear greasy.

I’m natural so it’s important that I find hair products that don’t contain a lot of alcohol or water. This gel is great!!! It doesn’t flake make my hair white or cause breakage.

This product is very thick but does not hold down hair well unless you coat your hair in it. I have very curly hair and this styling gel struggled to hold it down. If you have straight hair it would probably work better for you.

I have dry, curly, long hair and this stuff works great for me. I comb it through with a wide tooth comb, let my hair air dry, and my hair looks great! Also, my hair isn't crunchy like with some gels but it takes the frizz away just the same. I am so glad I discovered this product.

For my wavy/curly hair, this offered no hold at all, I couldn’t get a cast to scrunch out. I wouldn’t even say that it’s noticeably more hydrated with this product in the mix, but it probably helps some. I like that there’s no scent really and the price for the amount is great.

This product says flexible hold, but the consistency is similar to other gels and gelees that are very water based. For my 4b/4c hair, I knew it was going to be hydrating and not a product for laying anything down. I use it after my leave in conditioner when I do twists and it works good with no flaking in my hair. It is pretty good for hold in that regard so it's probably best for twists, brands and curl definition.

Make sure you read the packaging unlike myself! This is a hydrating gel, so for my curly hair when I apply this to my wet hair after my wash day I was expecting this to have a strong hold. This one does not. It has a very light hold and once my hair was dry it was much frizzier than when I use my other gels. No cast but my hair does look hydrated and shiny. This gel from Cantù was not for me.
