Dr. Brown’s Formula Mixing Pitcher offers fuss-free formula preparation for up to four (4) 8 oz/250 mL baby bottles at once. An adjustable stopper keeps the mixing blade from lifting above the liquid, reducing the amount of air that enters baby’s formula to help minimize air-swallowing during feeding and reduce gas. Q: Should water be measured in the pitcher with the lid/mixing blade in the pitcher or should I be using the measurement on the side of the pitcher when there isn't anything in it?

From the beginning, formula was lumpy. I actually started mixing formula with a spatula to press out the clumps because the mixer just do that great of a job. That was with regular Similac 360. Enfamil, on the other hand, mixed a lot better. Now we have to use Enfamil AR and it's 10 times worse. Lumps galore -_- The only way to get lump free formula is to do half (2 cups) at a time. After about 4 1/2-5 months, the handle comes when trying to mix. I looked closer and noticed the handle is separating. Since it's spreading apart, it won't stay on the part that spins to mix. We do have twins, so maybe it'll last a little longer for someone with one child. The pitcher was always hand washed, never placed in the dishwasher.

Used for only two days and experienced the same problems others have reported regarding the mixing handle. The inside white mixing part is disintegrating. Pitcher was thrown out due to concerns of plastic leaking into formula. Very disappointed.

I have now gone through three of these pitchers. I use a Dr Browns Sterilizer+Dryer and the handle falls off after two or three cycles. This renders the mixing part unusable. The seam on the top handle comes apart due to the heat cycle and drying. The box claims sterilizer safe, but it is not. Look to other brands for better one

Used this for almost one year with a baby who was fed powder formula exclusively - lots of use. It mixes without clumping, and significantly less air bubbles than shaking. I cannot stress too much how important the air bubble bit is with babies who tend to reflux, spit up, vomit, etc., or are colicky. After baby was weaned, I started using it to mix whey protein concentrate powder with several different fluids. It also mixes Gatorade powder with water very well.

I LOVE THIS PITCHER but after only a few weeks, the stem piece is starting to break and it will not mix once it does. Looking into whether the manufacturer will provide a replacement because I really do love the pitcher.
