Cheaper material All Plastic
Not the same fan that I bought 2 years ago. It’s all plastic now and the blade is plastic and the hole is off centered therefore the fan blades will not go all the way down. Think I will return this one.

Inconsistent volume and fan speed
I bought this fan after one of the clasps that holds the face broke on a similar (different brand) fan I had for years. I should’ve just gotten another one of those. This Holmes table fan is loud but that’s not the worst part! The fan speed is inconsistent, speeding up and slowing down every few seconds/minutes and it makes the volume from the fan inconsistently loud then quiet as well. I’ve taken it apart and put it back together twice now after initially assembling it and it has not changed a thing! I’ve had it for over a month and hoped the issue would resolve itself but it has not.

It's better then the 3 blade option and much more quiet. It only cost me about .69¢ more for this model. (Also some idiot had the title of this saying it's a 16" model but it isn't! This is the 12 inch with 5 blades.. the title is for a larger model with 6 blades. Js)

If you have a small room that gets hot get a better fan and skip this one. I thought because it has 5 blades it would be great but when it's on low you barely feel any air coming from it medium is a little better but not much to get alot of air to cool the room you have to leave it on high all the time.

Decent price for item. My only issue is the base of the fan is a very flimsy plastic. I foresee this being an issue down the road or not holding up as well as the rest of the fan. Should feel more solid or heavy since the fan cage is metal and the rest of the item seems to be a decent material and make.

Piece of Junk
I just purchased this fan from Target. First, the box was missing part B the Grill Locking Screw. Yes, the 0 button turns the fan off but the 3 button also turns the fan off. To put is simply, the fan doesn't operate at high speed. Finally, part J, the oscillation knob doesn't move up or down no matter if you push or pull on the knob. It seems like the knob isn't attached to anything. Only the grill is metal. The rest of the fan is a thin plastic which I had to assemble myself.

Very cheap parts !! All plastic including the base . I Had to take the fan back twice . The first fan was missing parts . The second fan had a broken neck . I finally got a refund and purchased a fan some where else .

I bought this because it said it was a quiet fan. Not sure if mine if defective but it’s quiet on the lowest setting but if you put it any higher it’s extremely loud. I can’t sleep with it on higher than 1.
